Great food, service and ambiance

My husband and I enjoyed a nice dinner here on a Sunday evening. We went at 6pm and the place was very quiet. We had wonderful service and both enjoyed our food. The Caesar salad was great, the bruschetta was ok (they use gorganzola cheese, which is not what I would have chosen), and the ravioli... read more

My husband and I went to Ballo on a Sunday evening and sat at the bar. I always say that it’s service that separates a 5 star review from a 1 star review, and our experience was an example of that. I should also add that we’ve been to Ballo (restaurant area and bar) many other times. We were in... More

The first good thing about the restaurant was the hostess who sat us post haste. The next good thing was the waiter! Once our beverages were delivered the remainder of the meals was wonderful. Great apps, tasty dinners and awesome desserts. We will return and hopefully our waiter will be there.

This is a relative newcomer to the Mohegan's Sun's list of top restaurants. It's got a wide variety of Mediterranean and Italian selections. I had the veal parm and it was huge and very tasty. Definitely worth a visit while you are at the Sun.

When in late on a Friday night, no reservations, found out that there were no tables available other than in the "lounge" area. My family and I took the open table and we were very pleasantly surprised. Amazing service and food. Prices are a little less than Tuscany; however, the food is as good if not better. Sitting in the... More

We were at Mohegan Sun for a concert and dined at Ballo. We were with my cousins who had never eaten here before. They were very pleased. First let me say that our server, Dawn, was sensational. She was knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly yet professional. We started with the cheese wheel of mac and cheese made to... More

I was not impressed but again that's only me. The pizza was small and dry and some of the underneath was burnt. To me was not worth the money.

The service here was great. Our waiter was extremely nice and very helpful with our party of 6. We ordered apps, entrees, and dessert. The bruschetta and calamari were both decent. We shared a lot of our meals and everything was basically ok. It was good, but nothing risky and nothing really popped or stuck out. It came off as... More

We visited Saturday evening to celebrate my sisters birthday. The restaurant was busy, but as promised, we were seated at a round table set for 6. We started with the calamari, cheese plate, margarita pizza and those wonderful little stuffed red peppers. As always, everything was delicious. We continued on to a variety of tasty entrees. I asked if they... More

We have eaten here at least 5-6 times before going to a show. Despite some other reviews our experience has always been good. The staff has always been friendly especially at the bar. We have eaten the pizza, cheese and meat tray and a few pasta dishes and all have been pretty good. It can be expensive depending on what... More
