A good choice at Mohegan Sun

We stopped here for a late night drink. The atmosphere is great... It was a Saturday night and much of the casino was chaotic. Ballo was busy but it seemed to be under control... We appreciated the retreat. Service was pleasant. We will return for dinner. If you are looking for a "quieter" spot... read more

We booked this restaurant because we were coming in town for the Kenny Chesney concert and Ballo did not disappoint. My husband and I have been to this restaurant before, but this experience was amplified due to the exceptional server waiting our table. Thank You Rachel!! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and her bubbly personality complimented the delicious food making it... More

This restaurant is located in the Mohegan Sun Casino immediately off the casino floor. An unusual location for such a find restaurant. The restaurant itself is warmly furnished and quite. The first time we were invited by friends and didn't expect much. We were completely amazed at all features of the restaurant. They have, indeed, placed a very first class... More

Stopped at Ballo this evening during an unplanned trip to Mohegan Sun. My friend ordered a rum and coke and I asked the bartender to bring me something that was fruity but light on the alcohol. He brought me something with fruit juice and malibu rum. I am not a heavy drinker but I ended up putting down two of... More

My Wife & I visited this restaurant at the suggestion of a friend as it was reported they have excellent mussels and we are always on the look out for good mussels. I will start by saying our waiter was awesome. After reviewing the menu we ordered the mussels. The waiter was very knowledgeable about about menu items however he... More

Went for dinner after a show on coworkers recommendation and was not disappointed. If not busy, ask for the Mac n cheese special - they cook it with truffles in cheese wheel lit on fire in front of you. Cheesiest, creamiest ever! It was the most similar to pasta in Italy - very light but strong flavor.

Had the opportunity to stay at Mohegan Sun in Feb for a weekend. Had Thursday evening plans at Ballos and they did not disappoint. Started out with minestrone soup which was very warm, tasty and great spices. Had the meat sauce with spaghetti (short description) which again was very warm and sweet. Had the special pale ale which was in... More

My girlfriend and I came here this past Thursday night for dinner as we were staying at the casino for the night and I had heard good reviews. The food and service was very good. BALLO is conveniently located in the Mohegan Sun casino for those who hunger while they enjoy themselves gambling or shopping or seeing a show, but even if it wasn't somewhere I already was, I'd go here. The atmosphere is so nice, I usually forget I'm even at the casino. The food is some of the best I've ever had, and... More
