Great Pizza - but pricey

Never had a bad pizza here but be mindful of their "large party grat" practice. We had 6 people and the server automatically added a 20% tip to the bill. When we questioned her she curtly asked "don't you think I deserve 20%". Quite frankly, NO - we needed to chase you down for refills. I... read more

We ordered the Frank Pepe's oringinal tomatoe pie, it was so great I had 4 slices myself. We added sausage and pepperoni. It was great. The coal oven bakes the pizza very fast. The service was very good.

It is the best pizza! Although it is inside the casino, if my family wants to go out to pizza we go here everytime. Great thin crust and just the right amount of cheese and toppings added. Family friendly so it makes it nice to bring a kids!

We come here whenever we visit Connecticut and it's always the highlight of our trip. I thought I had had the best pizza when I lived in NYC until I tried Frank Pepe's. There's no comparison. I love the thin, crisp yet chewy and perfectly charred crust from the coal fired stove, and the slightly sweet, perfectly spiced sauce with... More

I have eaten at the New Haven and Fairfield locations countless times. The Frank Pepe's at Mohegan does not hold true to the originals. Our pies last night were not very good. They are catering to much to the take out crowd from the casino and are rushing the process. Very disappointed but I will STILL be eating at the... More

Had to be at Mohegan for a business conference. We couldn't leave without getting a pizza! The best around for sure!

I have heard about Frank Pepe's for years, so my husband and I decided to try the one at the Mohegan Sun. We each ordered a small pizza, and neither of us was impressed with the crust. Mine was actually black in spots and very dry. The sauce was bland and completely lacking in flavor. The toppings were the bright... More

This place is supposedly "world famous." Their pizza is supposed to have a good reputation, so I thought I'd go ahead and give it a try. Well, it was terrible. The crust was burnt, and where it wasn't, it was tateless. The sauce tasted like what you'd get out of the store brand can of tomato sauce in the grocery... More

Had never had this "world famous" pizza before but had to give it a try. We had a classic cheese which I enjoyed as it had plenty of cheese and not too much sauce. The coal fired oven makes it perfectly crispy and delicious.

Drove 3 hours to get here just for the clam pizza. The waitress informed us that the boats couldn't get to the clams because of the weather. Um?!?! What!?!?! Clams are dug from the mud! It would be really tricky for a "boat" to get them any time of year. I nearly couldn't eat my pizza I laughed so hard... More
