A favorite of the lunch bunch

Quite popular with locals like myself for a quick lunch. I have enjoyed at various times the crab cake sandwich, the eggplant gorgonzola sandwich, and my standby: the BLT with fries and cole slaw. Nice play to enjoy a french onion soup when the weather is cold. The restaurant has lots of parking... read more

We had a very enjoyable lunch. They have a nice menu- specials, salads, sandwiches, Entrees, pizza, and soups. I had a lunch special- fresh roasted turkey wrap with lettuce and cranberry pesto mayonnaise on whole wheat wrap. Soup came with the special- lemon chicken orzo. The wrap was overstuff and very fresh and tasty. My husband had the grilled chicken... More

Our usual restaurant was closed for rennovations so we thought we would try Old Towne Restaurant. The menu was very large, which showed it was a Diner more than a restaurant, and I am always concerned about the freshness of the food. The menu said Fresh, Homemade Raviolis. So I asked, were they fresh? The answer NO. Frozen. So I... More

I have a picky family so I needed a place where everyone could get what they want without complaining. Not only did everyone get what they want but they all loved the food and the service. We had a variety of selections but everything was tasty. The service was excellent. It's our new place to go when we visit our... More

Old Towne is our favorite pizza restaurant in town. We go for a white broccoli and garlic pizza - but it's all good. Their steak salad is good. I've had a couple of mediocre meals which is why I didn't give it 5 star rating. (can't remember what they were - one was a fish dish...)

Trumbull is really , really short on places to eat. This is a good place to go if you just want to "get something to eat"... Not really a place to "go out to dinner". It is nicer than a diner with a menu that is better than a diner menu...booth and table seating...it does have a bar similar to... More

I asked at the service station while my car was filled up where I might get lunch, and was directed to this restaurant in a run--of-the-mill strip center about 2 miles north of the Merritt Parkway. Since I was driving through, I didn't want a huge meal, and selected a bowl of the seafood bisque. It was really lovely --... More

We stopped here for Lunch coming back from Boston. Its right off the Merritt Pk'way and has good diner-type food in a shopping center mall. A big selection of sandwiches, in a nice looking place with friendly service at reasonable prices. The sliced turkey sandwiches were fresh turkey sliced off the bone.
