You feel like you are in Italy when you eat here! Great food and wonderful service! I recently went to Lake Como and twice had osso bucco, neither was as good as what you can have here!!!' Delizioso!!!! Buon appetito!!!

The Venetian is a Northwest Connecticut institution, the food is always very good, the service is always good and the servers are always knowledgeable and friendly. Michael is the ultimate professional, he makes every patron feel like they are the most important person in the restaurant.

Michael who own the resturant is there to greet you at the door. His wife and daughter both work in the Venetian also. The food is excellent no matter what you order. The portions are modest but you will not be hungry when you leave. The restarant is not very large bur if you have a big group there is... More

I’ve tried the Venetian a few times as I love Italian cuisine. My recent visit was my last. We had reservations for four, we were seated promptly. Our food was ordered and took quite some time to be served. Once received, all of our meals portions were pretty small, tasty, but small. Our server hardly ever came around to ask... More

The Venetian is tired. The food is tired. The decor is tired. The wait staff are tired. Even the mural has seen better days. The only saving grace is the adjacent parking lot.

The Venetian has excellent Italian food and is family run. Michael does the best table side cesear salad and you can tell how much he enjoys each customer. The service is great... located right downtown, the perfect place to eat before or after a show at the Warner or the Nutmeg. I keep going back because the price is good,... More

Went for lunch and had a nice meal, but the service was terrible. There was one server for the whole room. Most of the other patrons appeared to be regulars and got great service. We felt ignored. Was also quite cold. Many folks kept their coats on...made us even less happy to be lingering over our meal.

The Venetian has been a fixture in Torrington for more than 43 years. This family owned and operated restaurant has some of the finest Italian food you will find. The prices are reasonable and the food is out of this world. Being a family owned business, they take great care of their customers as well. I have dined her many... More

First time back here in several years. Still has lovely old school Italian ambience. Had the veal chop and it was delicious. Flame grilled and you could taste that through and through. Will come back again for the veal chop. Also, good attentive service.
