We have not been to Nutmeg Grill for several years. It used to be packed on weekend mornings. Well, we visited on a recent Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. and there were only a couple of tables filled. Our first cups of coffee served were lukewarm but the server quickly replaced them. We remember their delicious multigrain toast from years... More

Nutmeg Grille has a variety of interesting breakfast choices. My favorite is the French Toast. The staff is friendly and the service is good. I'm not crazy about the bench seats, but other than that it's a nice place for breakfast.

The Nutmeg Grille is a very inviting counter and booth restaurant. The service is first class and the food excellent. The menu is packed with interesting items that are well prepared. The breakfast pancakes are superior and the luncheon soups terrific. The prices are higher than the local competition but are worth it. At certain times there are long lines... More

I have been coming here for years only for breakfast when visiting family. I have never eaten a lunch here so I cannot speak on that aspect of this restaurant. I have actually never heard anyone speak of their lunches so I don't know how good they are. Breakfast seems to be the busiest time for this place. It is... More

This year I've traveled as far north as New Hampshire,as far south as Florida, and as far west as Arizona, but I have to say that the two breakfasts that I had at the Nutmeg Grille were the best. The biggest challenge was deciding what to order since there were so many tempting selections on the menu. The first day I ordered the salmon... I was very unhappy with portion considering the prices and it was dirty in there. The waitresses reminded me of rednecks from down south, except far from friendly. This would explain why we were the only people in the place.

We were in town from out-of-state for 3 days. The first night, we asked a bartender to suggest a good breakfast spot. Without hesitation she gave us an enthusiastic, "Nutmeg Grille!" Long story short, we ate breakfast there the next two mornings. It's a cozy, quiet place, and clean as a whistle. The service was excellent. And OMG!!! The two... More
