Love the 99

Always good food, very predictable. Gets a little loud sometimes and booths in the bar are for really small people but food is good overall and price is good if you have coupons.

Average family style restaurant with many menu choices and quick service. Our favorites are the macadamia crusted chicken with a side of tasty sweet/hot salsa and turkey tips. There is a bar attached. Sometimes there is a wait for seating if it's on a weekend night.

Kind of cheap and a lot of fried foods. If you like Applebee's maybe you'll like 99. If not, stay away.

The staff is very nice and try to be as quick as possible. Try to visit before the usual dinner time or make reservations because it is a popular place to eat and there can be a pretty long wait for a table otherwise. The food is really good and the menu is always being updated with new dishes. Some... More

Food is inexpensive and pretty good for a chain. Waitstaff is usually always extremly friendly. Always offer coupons and the best part is you can do call ahead seating so the wait is usually 10 minutes or less. The bathrooms are clean and kept up. The offer seating inside and out while waitng for your table.

While I stood in line at the fabulous Christmas Village in Torrington, CT - my son, daughter-in-law and their three young children had a quick dinner at Ninety Nine. Eric was their server - and they had the highest praise for how he went the extra mile to make their dining experience quick, fun and relaxing (with a 4 year... More

They are still running ads for their lobster roll. Got my son excited about going to 99 for his favorite meal and he wound up in tears. The food we did order was OK but small portions and average taste.

I have been going to the 99's for over 40 years, long before there expansion into stand alone outlet market, those were the days! Massive cocktails and sandwiches for 99 cents, hence the name. No more. Standard entrees and beverages, some how they have leap to the outer limits of mediocrity.
