The Windmill has been around forever. Their claim to fame was their chili dogs. New owners took over last year (2013) and redid the menu and supposedly the interior of the place. We went there for their chili dogs. The inside still looked the same from years past and their chili dog was just that, a hot dog with chili.... More

Had dinner here...arrived around 6:30 and was seated immediately. Waitress was nice but did not seem familiar with what accompanied the dinner specials we ordered. Once that was settled, food came promptly and was delicious. Had the prime rib dinner which came with roasted potatoes and mixed veggies. Really good. Atmosphere was nice and comfy...band that was live really good.... More

I went with some friends and for me it was a good time. It is off the beaten path and I didn't know what I was walking into, but it was packed at 7 and we were able to get some seats at the bar. We had the wings. They were good and compared to an Archie moores. Definitely will... More

My husband and I really enjoy going to the Windmill. The food is good, love the burgers with Chili and the salad dressing they use is delicious. The grilled chicken sandwich is also delicious. Very casual and inviting atmosphere, they make you feel like part of the family. Mary Lou, the hostess is so sweet and Joey the bartender always... More

When the new owners took over they vowed nothing would change and they have stayed true to their promise. It's still a fun place with lousy food. Except for the hot dogs which are great. My party of 8 ordered a range of dogs, sandwiches and a few entrees. The entrees were way over cooked with very little flavor. The... More

Typical Vazzano arrogance. Mediocre food served by staff who give the impression they're doing you a favor.

I've been to the Mill countless times over the last 40 years for hot dogs and a beer, sometimes by myself and other times with the guys back when I still played softball. I'm still 10 toes in for a great hot dog but for an actual dinner, never again. I wasn't expecting perfection but what I had a couple... More

Windmill was a relaxing easy going place to stop in for good eats. It was old but clean. Many local friendly people. Best cook in the kitchen with homemade meals. It is under new management and remodeled nicely. As always with new management, it has lost the old charm and good eats and is now a typical yuppy stuffy place... More

The Windmill was recently bought by new investors. When it first opened they still had the original owner cooking. We went in on a Saturday and the porketta sandwich was delicious, just as we expected. We went in a few weeks later and the original owner was no longer cooking and the porketta sandwich was tasteless and dry. Very disappointed.... More

This is a long time neighborhood bar and grill. I remember going there years back for there dogs and beer. A recent family gathering celebrating a niece's birthday made me wonder what it would be - as the place was truly a dive. Well no more! and so enjoyed myself as we al did. it is still a neighborhood bar.... More
