Sara's Pockets came highly recommended from all my foodie friends. We ate the spanakopita, gyros, baba ganoush, and the baklava. The owner is as talented as he is friendly! :) I only wish there was a little more atmosphere to the restaurant itself in terms of decor. Be careful climbing up the stairs to the place too, the staircase has... More

This is one of our favorites restaurants. There is a bit of wait because everything is fresh made from Sam and Sara. We especially love the Baba Kanouch and spinach pies.

Saras's Pocket has the best falafel (5 pieces) I have ever had! Very healthy and homemade mediteranean food! The owners are so friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service and the restaurant is very clean. It is open 7 days a week from 11 am to 11 pm.

Fun place to grab a quick lunch on campus. Going for Mediterranean, Middle Eastern or Vegetarian cuisine instead a boring sandwich. Falafel pocket was good.

This is a classic Mediterranean lunch place. Smallish menu with mostly sandwich type. My wife had a classic Gyro with a choice of two sauces. I had a lamb, peppers and onion wrap with a really tasty marinade. We also had a spinach pie which are triangular crusts stuffed with spinach and spices. Excellent!

I did not even know that this restaurant existed until this weekend after seeing the reviews on trip advisor. I have driven right by and didn't know it existed for years, but I am glad we got a chance to try their food. There are a lot of things I agree with that others have mentioned here. The owners of... I used to love me some Sara's pockets when I went to Uconn! I went back to this place after having been away from uconn for 5 years and was shocked that the owner remembered me. First off, if you are looking for fast food, don't come here! This place only makes good fresh food and he's in no hurry... More

This is the classic Mediterranean food dive - delicious food, good price, decor of a garage sale. The baba ganoujsh was a nice smokey flavor, the hummus was smooth and tasty. Great tabbouleh too. Perfect for a quick tasty meal. OH, and the grape leaves are out of this world, nice and lemony, and vegetarian (actually vegan I think.) So... More

I went there with high expectations from reading other reviews. Turns out it was one of my worst dining experiences ever. Refusing to fix an order that he had messed up on, he demanded payment. Actually it was more like he threatened. His initial calm demeanor was then turned to fury as the concept of customer service seemed more alien... More

Cutest & most delightful little man ever! I wanted to sneak him in my pocket & take him Home with me! My boyfriend and I both got the falafel pockets, which were absolutely delicious, and we shared a tabouleh salad, spinach pie, and ice tea. A little over 18$, we left with full bellies & a smile!
