Great lunch after a morning in the water

We have been here a few times for pastries and hot beverages. It is right near Dubois Beach where we go diving. (Note: We've heard diving is not permitted once the season opens on Memorial Day weekend.) We decided to try lunch today. I had the club sandwich. The bread was toasted just right... read more

After seeing this place turn hands several times, this is by far the worst. Several times I've been in the shop and I've seen the owner be pushy and rude to the customers. It is such a shame because this place has the potential to be great. The bagels are average, though, the addition of the lunch options are good.

Great place to stop for coffee when we walk to the Boro! Bagels, cinnamon buns, pastries are yummy! Also, good sandwiches for lunch.

This is truly a local coffee place - not a chain and also using a locally made coffee, Dave's, which is excellent. The sandwiches are fresh and often locally sourced ingredients, too. Great atmosphere for morning coffee with friends at the homey wooden tables.

With all the times we have been to Stonington, this is our first time sitting down at the Yellow House for a real meal. Usually it is coffee on the run. We loved it. We shared a Panini sandwich with turkey, peppers and cheese. Just enough without being stuffed. However, You have to also share a cinnamon bun. GREAT.

The Yellow House has kind of a dive-y feel, but I couldn't fault the coffee. The salted caramel latte was very light and not too sweet, and the chicken salad wrap was delicious. Maybe I just happened to stop by on a good day...??

Yellow house is fine for coffee and a bagel but I made the mistake of ordering a sandwich last summer which, if I remember correctly, was turkey breast, avocado and bacon. The 1 slice of bacon was about 2" x 1" and the avocado was a smear in the middle of the bread. When I opened it up to eat... More

Have breakfast here most mornings when I am not traveling. They have "Daves" coffee which is really nice (Boro blend is my favorite) . I have the oatmeal with raisins and h&h. Some tasty vegan items as well..
