Great spot with fresh local seafood - (every day!) - but super-cranky bartender!

We visited during a snowy weekend and sat at a table in the bar for lunch. We started our meal with the lobster spring rolls which were delicious! The service was quick and friendly and we enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Oddly, the side of ketchup is served in a little paper cup, which is something you... read more

We stopped here over a long weekend in January and were seated quickly with no wait. Clam chowder and mussels were excellent, as was my husband's burger. The waitress could answer questions about the menu and service was just fine. The wine list offered some very nice wines by the glass, not the usual standards. Good for a casual lunch... More

Consistently excellent food that pleases five children and Mom and Dad. A friendly cafe with customers often stopping to visit friend's at other tables. We dine there often and are never disappointed. Always order the fries!

This is a favorite of folks in the borough. You never know who you'll run into. Great tasting food. I love the shrimp in lo mein when they are serving it. Great burgers. Pub menu and dining menu both served at tables. I go here with a small group of friends and there has never been a complaint about the... More

In Stonington for daughter's field hockey tourney; arrived late PM, called Water St, got right in and....FANTASTIC! I do not typically like Clam Chowda (how it's spelled on menu) but my wife gave me a taste & I ordered my own bowl! Duck dish was also great; service good; lots of locals & an excellent selection of brews.

We dined one evening late and walked to the restaurant after a long day of travel from the West coast. What a wonderful meal we had. We enjoyed the special scallops from CT and the beet salad were really special. We would have dined here every night if we were staying longer in the area. We were touring Portland Maine... More

Excellent friendly service with a delicious and eclectic menu with something for everyone. The atmosphere is vintage bistro with the feeling of a wonderful local European tavern, with a smattering of Greenwich village thrown in for good measure. A warm cozy unpretentious neighborhood place that will welcome you like an old friend.
