Brilliant view from the deck, seeing the boats coming and going at the marina. Just had a beer as I thought the menu was over-priced and didn't fancy paying $16 for fish and chips which is what I would have liked the most.

This is nothing to write home about and I'm still baffled by all the rave reviews this place gets. The food is pedestrian. Nothing that'll make you sick but nothing that'll make you sing. It's pricey, there's always a line, parking lot may be full in the summer when all the boat owners are in, but it's a great place... More

friendly service, great view, delicious, fresh seafood and fair prices. what's not to like? A nice walk from the Inn at Stonington and good to walk back to the inn after enjoying a really good lunch. Mostly locals who stop in for lunch, maybe a drink and some conversation. Nice crowd, pretty busy but the food came out pretty quickly... More

I am a regular diner at Dog Watch and love everything about it. Great food, setting, and staff. This week they won the award from the Connecticut Restaurant Association for Best Casual Restaurant in CT, 2014. It is a well deserved honor. If you haven't been there yet, put it on your "must-do" list.

Beautiful location on the water in this charming town with wonderful food and service. Elaine our server was delightful. The seafood could not have been fresher!

We dined there on vacation with local friends who go there regularly. The Clam Chowder is the BEST! My meal was great too but I rank their Clam Chowder the best in New England. The service was good. We visited in the fall and outside dining was not a choice due to the weather. The seating was a little close... More

It is my favorite spot when I'm in the area. The service and the food are very good. My only complaint is that is a little pricy.

A cold Saturday in November is perfect day to visit Dog Watch Cafe. We were able to sit at the bar, our favorite seating for sure. The bartender (sorry forgot her name) was so pleasant and accommodating. I love the gluten-free choices that I need. I started with oysters so delicious. I also had the corn tortilla nachos with added... More

Dog Watch has a great outdoor bar area facing the marina. in front, there is a seated waiting area with heaters as needed. Summertime always has a wait. Bar is always full. nice people. great drinks. average food. Winter meal deals at times. Always a good time.
