The Dog Watch Cafe has a wide ranging menu, a great bar that is always packed, and a terrific view of the yacht harbor from the bar and back tables. Big parking lot out front. People rave about the food here which is fine, much better than your average harbor cafe and of course served in copious portions. Service was... More

This is excellent value for money. Superb, over-stuffed lobster in grilled, buttered bun; accompanied by battered French Fries. Highly recommended. Also, don't miss the hand-knit children's sweaters embroidered with crabs and other sea creatures.

We recently stopped at the Dog Watch Café on our way to Walpole, Mass. and are very glad we did. We were seated with a wonderful view of the harbor and had a delicious meal. The service was excellent, we were not rushed even though the restaurant was close to full, and the people who took care of us we... More

As new boat owners we were looking for a spot we can easily boat to, dock, and have a nice meal. The Dog Watch fit the bill perfectly. Called the marina on Channel 78 and the staff was very helpful directing us to a slip on the dock and even lend a hand to set our lines. Had a short... More

My family went to dinner (prime time 6:00 p.m.) on holiday weekend, we were told we would have 1 and 1/2 hour wait. They took our cell phone number to text us when our table opened up. We waited behind the restaurant where there is a bar with games and tables right on the water. It wasn't even a 1/2... More

Labor Day weekend stopped in on a Saturday night for a casual dinner. Lobster salad roll was fabulous, fish and chips perfect and nachos were spectacular! And the service was outstanding! The way hospitality should be! Thank you for the lovely evening Dog Watch Café!!

Very pretty place, food was not the greatest and service was lacking. Will try again when not so busy and see if it was just crazy tourist season issue, because my family goes here a lot and likes it. I think I went on an off kinda day. Weekend an pretty packed.

Live in Tennessee but get to New England at least once a year and have to eat here! Found it by accident when went to Dodsons boatyard years ago. The service is incredible, food Devine and prices reasonable for the level of fun you will have! A little hard to find but worth the trouble! Eat lunch or dinner overlooking the... More

This is the second time that I have been to this restaurant. There was an hour and twenty minute wait and they do not take reservations. We had wine outside, large pour, decent price for good wine. I had the fried oysters and we had clams casino appetiser. This is the best seafood that I have ever had period! We... More
