This eatery is VERY popular. The flow of incoming diners never stopped while we were there. Clearly, other diners must like the place so perhaps judge for yourself. I found the food to be average. The entrees were just ok and the beans and rice sides tasted like they came from a can. They were also over salted. The waitress... More

After reading reviews online and meeting a couple that recommended Milagro, we decided to stop for lunch on our travels to Stonington. We couldn't have been happier we came! We honestly didn't expect such good Mexican food in a tiny seaside town. The food was so fresh and tasty, with excellent ingredients. The Guacamole was probably some of the best... More

We've been regulars, since they opened and have always left happy. Every visit for us starts with a fresh margarita and the tuna ceviche. We often order the fabulous chile rellenos and the cochinita special. Last night the scallops with avocado were sensational. One diner who thought she did not like Mexican food became a convert.

Some people love this place -- but I think maybe for the margaritas? The food was bland and bad…so bad that I never went back. Usually I give a place 3 tries but once was enough for me here!

Milagro is my absolute favorite restaurant! I live nearby and always bring visiting guests here. Yes, it is tiny so there is often a wait, but it is definitely worth it. Charming atmosphere, warm and attentive service, and wonderful food!

Small, bright, cheerful, inexpensive. The waitstaff is friendly and obliging. The food is VERY fine--traditional Mexican cuisine (i.e., not standard-issue Tex-Mex), prepared perfectly and made with the freshest ingredients. Unless you're exceptionally hungry, skip the first course: the tortilla soup is superlatively good, but you'll want to leave plenty of room for the entree. I can't recall ever having had... More

We visited Milagro for the first time on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch and we really enjoyed the food and drinks. I had a strawberry margarita and it was absolutely amazing, it was so smooth and the flavor was so delicious. It was by far the best margarita I've ever had, the alcohol taste was hidden so well... Went with friends, started with House 'Ritas which weren't the best; moved on to "Fresh" and "Smoky" ones after, all fantastic. Appetizers and entrees were great, absolutely no complaints. Not at all like the Mexi chains, this is fresh and individually prepared food. Service was good; we seemed to have a trainee who was not very knowledgeable about the menu... More

We have been looking to check out Milagro's for some time now. My wife and I finally had the chance to visit with another couple. We visited on a Friday night. When we arrived, we were the first names on the list (they do not take reservations). It was raining out so we waited across the street in an alcove.... More
