My wife and I dined at Siena. It was noisy and the tables were close together. I don't understand why restaurants think that a high noise level is conducive to a good dinner. There are better restaurants in Stamford where you can actually talk to the other people at your table. The food was OK but not great. If I... More

Pasquale and his team have consistently delivered amazing quality food and service. I have been coming here for 15 years and the experience is always the same: EXCELLENT ! Being half Italian, I totally appreciate great Italian food. Despite the ratings of the other Italian restaurants in Stamford, Siena should be at the top of the list. The food is... More

Was dining solo, so decided to just eat at the bar - very attentive bartender immediately came over and suggested a few drink options. I opted for white wine and water with lemon. Large wine glass - liberal pour - off to a great start. I ordered the Ravioli which is a blend of several cheeses. In a word DELICIOUS!... More

Yesterday when I went out to have some dinner with a friend... I choose to go another place. However, the menu didn't have options when we decide to go across the street and surprise! We went to Siena. The atmosphere was cozy, the dinner set - tablet, cutlery, glasses were well set up with nice tablecloth. E order a salad... More

Usually when I see "family and Italian restaurant" together, I imagine red & white check table-cloths or old-fashioned dowdy, quiet, or boring. Not at this place. It is not modern or hip, but rather bright and fresh. The food was delicious and in decent proportions. I had quail, my wife had an eggplant appetizer expanded pleasantly to an entre portion,... Great food, great atmosphere, great service & value. I felt home as soon as I stepped in the door. I went with a party of three Saturday night, and even though it was full, I was seated promptly. Everything from the appetizers to dessert was well crafted and incredibly tasty. The waiter and the owner were really friendly and made... More

I agree with previous negative reviews. Lackluster. We were recommended this restaurant since we were new to the neighborhood from Los Angeles. My criteria is simple, make us feel welcomed, educate us on your cuisine, treat us as if our dollar means something to you. Upon entering the restaurant, you are not warmly greeted, you are scooted to a table... More
