Went there for dinner on Thursday night. The place was almost empty. Our food was served quickly but lacked in taste. I have been to their Manhattan location few years back and the food was excellent. Here it was a big letdown. The momos were plain dumplings in filo wrappers. The hakka style noodles wasn't edible. We had it wrapped... More

What a great, new restaurant to come to Stamford! Chinese Mirch serves basic Chinese food entrees with an hot, Indian flare. PROS: The ambiance of the restaurant is very trendy and modern. I love the décor and seating arrangements. For me - being a vegetarian, they had a variety of dishes to choose from - all of which sounded AMAZING... More

This is a simple, unpretentious restaurant that serves Indo-Hakka food. For those who may not be familiar with Indo-Hakka (I wasn't, until fairly recently), it's what resulted from the migration of Chinese to India. So it's a sort of fusion, but not the sort of hifalutin' "fusion cuisine" that high-end restaurants so often try, and so often fail, to pull... More

They serve Indian food with a unique Chinese flavoring. Nice size portions and you know it is good when you hear patrons speaking Hindi

This my very favorite Indo-Chinese restaurant. Their Mumbai Gobi is true to the taste of what you'd get in Mumbai. I tried many more appetizers and each was very well prepared. I am vegetarian and they have ample choices from appetizers to main course. I especially like the vegetable Manchurian, paneer chilli, Hakka noodles, fried rice and ginger rice.

and I mean it, we don't plan to go back. I was expecting a lot more flavour given they have both Indian and Chinese food to work with, unfortunately it seemed the opposite effective with the food coming across very bland. Maybe others will have better luck with different dishes, we had the crispy szechuan lamb and the spicy hoisin... More

Fusion shmusion...It's an Indian restaurant that has kept a specific menu for Indian food lovers (not a shocker if you know Indians ;-) ) and there were at least three tables when i arrived that had Indian patrons eating Indian dishes- which is cool- I'm just making sure that I call it as it is. So where's the Chinese? Well... More

The food was spicy, the decor excellent, and well worth the half-hour trip from Westchester to go to this gem.

I like Indian food and I am not a great fan Chinese food but do like trying once in a while. The flavors and spice at this place are so unique and authentic. Mirch 65 is a repeat dish for sure, Duck was great. They do deliver but sometimes it takes close to an hour.
