A Stamford Classic.

Great neighborhood pizza place known for its ultra thin crust and hot oil pizzas. Delicious. Been going there for 50 years. No frills. Busy bar. Paper plates, but a great thin crust if that's how you like your pie.

Colony is an "institution" here in Stamford. My husband is a local, born and raised in Greenwich with half his family being from Stamford. He and his high school "townie" friends meet up here once every few weeks/months for dinner. I've gone with them probably five times. I'd say one or two of those times I've enjoyed the food; when... Awesome thin crust pizza and a cold pitcher of beer. It's been that way for years and it ain't going to change. The simplicity of this place is what makes it great. "Don't chip the china".

Always loved going here with a couple buddies, having a few pies and beers, and relaxing at the bar watching the local sports games. Loved their pizza when I was young, it hasn't changed and I still love it now. This is definitely a place to stop.

The pizza is out of this world, but the atmosphere is what makes this place great. Whether hanging out at the bar or dining at a table, the staff is the friendliest. They're like family. The pizza is absolutely delicious. Try a regular pie with salad on top - you'll be hooked.

Being born and raised in Stamford, we all know and love the Colony. It's an institution. Having said that, after many a softball game, I was getting tired of it. I haven't been there in years, but have gone up to their newer outlet in Fairfield. Was recently there to celebrate a birthday of a dear friend. It was a... More

If you are from CT you know about the age old argument: Colony or Pepe's....well, for me its Colony all the way. The Fairfield location is quite large but don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table. Yes, they do take out. The Stamford location is really old - the bar is referred t as "Jimmy &... More
