Pellicci's is the best Italian in town. I am a "lifer" in Stamford and have tried them all. The choices are infinite, the portions are great and the prices can't be beat. Stop in and say "hi" to Anthony, he'll take god care of you!

Good Italian food in "homey" atmosphere. Family-owned, a Stamford tradition. But service is slow. Bar area very noisy.
This place was recommended to me and a co worker by the folks @The Hyatt in Greenwich. I'm so glad we asked for their recommendation on a good place to eat. Authentic, fresh, homemade food at its finest. Everything's made on sight (including the desserts). Very friendly staff and very prompt service. Everything on the menu is a delicious.
I am a Stamford local. I have traveled extensively and they don't have a lot of places like this anymore. Around since the 40's. Other than the specials the menu hasn't changed alot since then. They have pizza, sausage sandwiches all the way to Gorgonzola Spinach pasta (Personal Fav) & Chicken Valencia. This is the go to Old fashioned checkered...

This was a great place to go as a group. Our office had a party here and it was amazing! We got the special meal for 4 people w unlimited soda, wine or beer drinks and we got our money's worth. The atmosphere was relaxing for couples and a big group of people. We loved it!
This place has been around since the forties. Comfortable, old-style Italian place with very good food. Great place to book parties of any kind. They have a big separate room that can handle one or more parties, including receptions after funerals, etc. They are great in working with you. Casual place and friendly. Neighborhood not the best, but they have...

The food was excellent and the decor was nice. It had a definite charm and was easily accessible from our Hotel.
My father insisted he take me to this restaurant to try the chicken scarp. Well, I'm glad he did! It was very good! We went for lunch, so the portion was half the size of a dinner. I didn't have the spaghetti with it because I didn't want the pasta. I tried the bread...I wish is was a little fresher....

I have been coming to Pellicci's for years (around ten years, which is but a small portion of the number of the many decades it has been open). I never come away disappointed. The decor seems to date from the 1950s, it is true, but that is part of its charm. The food (Italian) is made on the premises and...

Portions are generous, staff is wonderful, and willing to make any changes you request. They chicken scarp is the standard by which I judge all others... and so far, none have...
