I've eaten here several times and never had a bad experience. I usually get the duck, and it's very good. They offer generous portions and a quiet atmosphere. The service is slow, but all the strange trinkets hanging from the walls and ceiling will keep you entertained. more

I live within walking distance from the long ridge tavern. and for some stupid reason I've been back at least 5 times. Probably because I can walk to this horrible joint. Never again, please, please, please don't eat at this place. Yeah it's kind of nice inside but the food completely stinks. Nothing you get will be good. Believe me... more

I've been to this beautiful setting several times over the past 3 years, and it seems that the kitchen just can't help but ruin what could be a pleasurable and cozy dining experience. Lovely setting in the bottom part of an older Victorian. In the winter, there's a roaring fire in the fireplace, and in the summer, you can sit outside on the patio. There's a small (ish) bar/cafe section with indoor seating. But, the food is passable at best. People come here to enjoy the Ye Olde Newe Englande Shoppe feel, not... more
