Great Hamburgers

It is a happy restaurant with an upbeat bar scene. The food is pretty good but the hamburgers and fries (when hot) are delicious. So, if you are in the mood for a drink and a burger, GO.

Harlan Social looks so inviting from the outside and inside and we were looking forward to eating there. We went for lunch during the week and had to wait an hour and a half to receive our food! On top of that, the restaurant made potato chips at $7.00 a plate were disgracefully small for the price. When we finally... More

I had a great business dinner at Harlan Social. Located in a newly reinvigorated area near downtown Stamford, the restaurant was lively and comfortable. The menu was very appealing and there were several dishes that I would have loved to have tried. At the waiter's recommendation, I ordered and thoroughly enjoyed the pork chop. We ordered a couple of the... More

I had dinner there last night (party of 7 inc. 4 kids). We ordered some charcuterie to have something to nibble on before our main dish. The charcuterie took 45' to get to our table despite our reminders to the waiter. But then our entrees took another 45'!!!! We asked our waiter to enquire about the entrees several times and... Had a few bosses in for the day and was looking for a good place for lunch that wasn't to long of a walk. The decor was excellent, the staff was very attentive, we sat in the bar trying to be a bit more casual. The Burger looked fantastic was served nice and hot on a wooden plate. with some... More

A neighborhood gathering spot that can get quite noisy as the evening wears on. The menu is varied and eclectic, with some interesting ingredients mixed together. The food is quite tasty, and the portions larger than they look. The service is very good and knowledgeable. The wine list is interesting, as is the draft beer list. The trick is to... More

I met a friend for dinner who'd been there before and loved the feel of the space upon entering...great music (and not so loud you can't talk), lots of space, industrial chic decor but still cozy with big curved banquettes in the bar. Had a great new drink ("Rosie Cheeks") and perhaps the best burger I'd ever had in my... More

We went here for a party, had a large group. It was a very cute place, in the renovating section of Stamford, and the food was excellent. The only issue we had was that the service was poor. The waitresses never smiled, seemed like they did not want to be there and were not very eager to serve us or... More

Went there for dinner on a Tuesday and also to catch a game on tv with friends. Tried their wings, burata, and their burger. Everything was perfect. The food was top notch. And service was just adequate. There when we needed it. Loved the ambiance. The burger was was on the best I ever had anywhere. Highly recommend.

Visited for dinner with family. Expected it to be outstanding in all aspects from what we were told . Food was good, service was average. There seems to be adequate number of wait staff but we had to send someone to get our waitress a couple of times. Not very attentive to our needs and those needs are not too... More
