Although the restaurant is often loud (even in the "quiet" room), the food makes up for it! I recommend ordering a bunch of tapas for your table and sharing them as a group. It's the best way to experience all that the restaurant has to offer!

Dined here on my own the other night. You can sit at the bar as is the case in so many US restaurants without feeling out of place. Service is good and wine excellent. Tapas are reasonabley priced and good quality. Bread and olive oil was fantastic. Definitely worth seeking out.

I have probably been to this place 4/5 times this year. I LOVE it,! I went a week ago for date night with my fiancé and had a great time. I would always suggest making a reservation and still expect to wait 10-15 minutes. The bar is always packed so expect to stand up unless your lucky and get a... More

Food is excellent here. The bar area is very active and noisy but there is a quieter room in the back and a lovely outdoor dining area where you can survey the scene on Stamfords restaurant row. Great selection of tapas.

Nice selection of tapas to explore lots of tastes and figure out which ones you like best. We love the tortilla, mushrooms, mussels. Busy atmosphere and can get a bit chaotic with service generally good though getting so many tapas can cause delays. Friendly and helpful hostesses. Always enjoy being here.

we stayed across the street from this restaurant for 3 nights. the 1st 2 nights we saw a crowded restaurant but finally went in on Sunday----SCORE, all wine bottles 1/2 off on Sunday, we chaose an 09 Rioja and it was delectable. There is a very extensive menu. we were captivated by several items, we settled on the asparagus gazpacho,... More

Our 1st time here in April & we were very happy we went....loved the atmosphere, service, food & wine. Located in the center of the city in an area with many restaurants. On-street parking spots are limited. Prices are reasonable for what you get.

This is a modern looking, but with a cozy feel Tapas restaurant with an excellent selection of little plates as well as an extensive wine list. My friends have tried several dishes and most of them were absolutely fantastic: Mushroom and Herbed Goat Cheese, Jamon and Manchego Croquettes, Spring Bean Cazuela, Serrano wrapped Asparagus, Spinach-Chichpea Cazuela, Mushroom Croquettes - were... My boyfriend and I were in Stamford for a few days, and the front desk agent at our hotel recommended Barcelona, plus we could get 10% off by showing our room key. We decided to try it and we were so glad we did! We were there on the Sunday of President's Day weekend, so there was no work the... More

It is pretty much impossible to go wrong with Chef Scott's food & the wines selected by Jose. I highly recommend reserving in advance for a Chef's selection menu. Chef Scott's cooking classes are always informative. Do not expect recipes, his emphasis is on technique & introducing dishes that are easy to prep in advance for entertaining. Gretchen's wine classes... More
