Barcelona Restaurants are a great part of the Connecticut dining scene. Food is well prepared, the spaces are interesting, the service is good and the wine selection excellent. The Stamford location is not as crowded as the South Norwalk or Fairfield locations. Love the albondigas, the garlic shrimp, the cauliflower and so many others.

We go here from time to time and our experiences run from great to awful. The wine here is a bit pricey but they have a comprehensive list. Great is when it is not too crowded, the service is friendly, the tapas are hot and delicious to go with that special wine. Awful is when the service is simultaneously rushed... More

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry about the seafood dish and the inconsistent service. I would love to hear a bit more about the seafood dish and how we can improve on it as well as our service missteps. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime and we look forward to seeing you again. Sean Wiseman General... More

We love Barcelona especially for their tapas, always something new and food ranges from good to excellent. Really good with vegetarian dishes too. They have an excellent wine list and Sundays are half-price on bottles.

Very nice bar scene. Great wines and a friendly staff. I was staying in the area and it was very convenient.

I don't know why people think it's so good, cause we have an opposite experience. The service is rather good, atmosphere is ok, but the food quality is questionable. We ordered seafood paella and some wine. The rice stuck to the pan, rubber clams accompanied the rice. We paid $100 for that dinner and we were so disappointed by the... More

Came here for a business dinner and hands down, best service and food in Stamford. Our server made a phenomenal wine recommendation (and not the most expensive wine) which is always refreshing! His insights on what to order, how many to order was candid and honest. We ordered (and suggest): Lamp Chops- 2-well seasoned, not too gamey, served aside a... More

Met friends for dinner. The food was very good but I would have been happier if there were more diet friendly options on their menu. Also the noise level was high and made conversation a problem

Always a great place to catch up with friends splitting Tapas and wine. Service is always great, the bread is outstanding and I have a bunch of favorite tapas including Chorizos and Figs, Garlic Shrimp, Skirt steak and meatballs. Some locations have the garlic bulb, but Stamford does not. Sundays is 1/2 price bottles of wine.

Still 'overstuffed' with Thanksgiving turkey and enroute home via I-95, our hotel staff recommended Barcelona as a real change-of-pace, food-wise. We were delighted in every aspect, including their Sunday 1/2-price wine bottles special (we celebrated with a fine 2006 Muga Selection Especial, affordable and great with our flavorful tapas: truffle croquette, hangar steak, goat cheese/mushroom casserole and memorable chorizo w/figs... The service was OK, the wine list a little expensive for what they offered, but the food/tapas, which used to be great have declined to merely average. There are still a few tapas that are outstanding, like the fig/sausage combo, but most are tired retreads that have been on the menu for years. Also, the few newcomer tapas to the... More
