It has been a few years since I visited Coalhouse; It was during its opening weeks. I was impressed by the lightness and flavor of the dough (the original dough maker was from Red Hook in Brooklyn) the sauce and the delicious toppings. I sat on a beautiful evening at a table outside watching the crazy drivers jockeying for a... More

We keep coming back, solely for the yummy coal-fired oven pizza and wings -- many varieties, definitely something for everyone. I must recommend the Love in Vain or Shake Your Money Makers, delicious! Same with Mango Habanero or Korean Sweet wings, just great! And an amazing beer selection -- just had a very yummy beer cocktail for the first time... More

Went for a lunch date with friends and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, service good, loved the blues music playing but not too loud. I had a burger with blue cheese and bacon on "grass" It was absolutely delicious. My friends and I had a great meal. And the cocktails were great too.

Got a steak panini: the steak was slightly burned, and very tough. The chopped salad we ordered had very bland dressing, and some of the vegetables look like they were past peak. I think the lesson here is that when you go to a pizza place, you should order pizza. It looked pretty good!

Coalhouse is a great casual and fun restaurant to go to for pizza. I love the fact that it is a unique kind of atmosphere for a pizza place. My only criticism would be that I have frequented this restaurant many times, but have never received any sort of thanks for that by the management like I do at other... More

Over 50 craft brews on tap! This is a good spot for families, or for a night out for quality food and good drinks. We didn't have the pizza but it looked really good. Quite an extensive menu, made it hard to choose. Had the Turkey burger that seemed to be a fresh pattie, though it took a really long... More

Came here with my husband and daughter after a long work week. They have a large variety of pizzas and beer. Didn't care for the texture of the dough. Not crispy or chewy. Very bread like. Seems more like a place for young families. However, my daughter visited this place once again with a friend and ordered a wrap. She... More

I've been to this restaurant a number of times now and have always had a delicious meal washed down with a great variety of beers. The pizza selection is just as inventive as the beer list. The casual atmosphere makes it a great night out for family and friends.

I ordered takeout pizza - the kicker. Not as spicy as I would have liked but still a tasty pie. Additional toppings are a little pricey for the amount you get on the pizza, but it was ready quick, which was what I wanted. It looks like a good place to sit down and enjoy a drink but as I... More
