Yum....beer.....

I've been going to Coalhouse for ages. It is a favorite spot for me and my 3 year old on Fridays after school. I like it because my kid can be a little rambunctious, and it tends to go unnoticed. If kids bother you, they have recently redone the back room for the 21 and older crowd...which... read more

Actually the pizzas were really good. Light dough, crisp on the bottom. The restaurant was, as far as we could tell, pretty much empty. But the service was entirely another matter, and had no trouble rising to the challenge of not too many customers. 10 minutes after they (literally) dropped the menus on the table, we still had not seen... When visiting my daughter this week, she had to leave one morning to have her car serviced and on her way back home, she suggested bring lunch home (I was babysitting my granddaughter). She brought home two of the most delicious sandwiches. I had the Big Bill Broonsy with grilled skirt steak, arugula, tomatoes, avocado, cheddar, chipotle mayo, and my... More

Came here for a work function. We had a bunch of pies and pitchers. The service was fantastic. Beer selection was great. Most importantly, the pizza was delicious.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and loved their chili. My daughter had their veggie burger in 'grass'.....( no bun ). It was made with lots of spinach. Definitely try their sweet potato fries. Service was great!

Quite simply, this is a great restaurant. The pizza is made with fresh ingredients, with TONS of different options. The other food on the menu is great as well (try the meatballs). Their bar is fully stocked, with a massive variety in beers and bourbons. This is a place that gets better every time I visit- it is not to... More

Have been to Coalhouse on several occasions, lunch, dinner and takeout. Salads are typically decent, good dressings. Often get the salad with grilled salmon. Pizzas are ok, not great, depends on type of pizza, have had inconsistent food. Service is mediocre, and the ambience is a step above a cafeteria. It is also very loud in the restaurant.

Coalhouse Pizza is delicious! They offer a ridiculous variety of pizzas with any topping you can imagine, plus you can do half & half if you can't decide (even on the personal pizzas!!). The drink menu is extensive and the cocktails are very good. Service was just okay, could have been better. Overall a great restaurant!

We went to Coalhouse for a family dinner with the kids, but we were disappointed. Huge specialty pizza menu, but the service was not great (waited for menus, then waited to order drinks, etc). We enjoyed our pizza, but wouldn't go again to dine-in..might be better for takeout.

We were looking for a place to stop with the family-3 adults and 4 hungry children-for dinner on the way from NYC to Boston. Coalhouse was absolutely perfect. There was a choice for everyone. Pizza was yummy, wings were great, burgers and other entrees were perfect. The salads looked delicious and we were disappointed that no one in our party... More
