If you are looking for a warm, friendly, family environment and delicious food, try Villa Italia at their new location in Stamford. Regulars know how good the food is and has been here for years. Been going to this restaurant for years. Family run restaurant where everyone knows you. Best dishes are chicken milanese, lasagna, penne vodka, chicken piccata, chicken scarpialla, linguini with clams and mussels, pizza, and of course, the bread basket! Pricing is a bit off: appetizers and desserts are over priced. Entrees avg. $19-$22.

I stayed on business for 10 days in Stamford and used the bar and restaurant on numerous occasions. The bar is great, staff fantastic and friendly and the food magnificent. The spicy sausage and chicken was so good I had it two nights from the 6. Thank you to all the staff who made me feel very welcome even allowing... More

How many ways to fail. 1. Slooooowww service. Our reservation was at 7:45. Every step of the service took a long time. Good thing I'd had a light snack before I came. The server was pleasant, but... were they understaffed? Slow cook? I couldn't figure it out. 2. Lobster ravioli was fishy and shredded something... but I"m not sure it... More

I always come here, they changed the menu a bit and removed some of the food content. But I love it here, great enviornment, love the bar now. Although bartenders a very slow and take forever to make you a drink.

When calling for a 7 pm Saturday night reservation we were told that there were many tables available throughout the evening, but that we could only reserve a table for 4 for very early or very late in the evening (arrive before 6 pm or after 8:30 pm), because "we may need to push the tables together in case larger... This restaurant has moved from one side of Stamford to another. What an improvement! It is larger, the tables further apart and it has the same wonderful, down-home cooking, and the same reasonable prices. We like it so much we've been there twice in the last month! This is a family owned restaurant and they truly care about their customers.... More

We were in town visiting old friends. They knew this place from it's previous location, frequented it often so made reservations for our dinner for 6 of us. It's in a Hampton Inn, very spacious and well lit, and it was full of travelers and locals enjoying dinner. We were happy to be able to meet one of the owners.... More

Ive celebrated many life events at the old location ever since I stumbled across this hidden gem 5 years ago. Last night, I went there for dessert. My cannoli was brought to me with a birthday candle and two staff members singing Happy Birthday. How sweet that was! It was the Perfect way to end my birthday celebration. I left... More

I thought that this hidden gem once they relocated in town would have suffered a set back, but not the case. The entire staff along with the new additions have transitioned very well. Good food, nice atmosphere, always friendly staff good for lunch and dinners. You really need to try this place
