Yes that is the word. Because if I tell you what I really think, it will be even more difficult to get in that it already is. GET IT.. Amazing place in every way. RAG

I have eaten at many restaurants around the world, cafe sylvium can compete with any of the best. As soon as you enter, the wait staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxing, not loud and not rushed. Every meal for our party was eloquently prepared and delicious. If you are only a couple ask for table... More

Small quaint Italian restaurant. Awesome veal and pasta. Friendly and helpful waiter. Highly rated and understandably so! A great reason to visit Stamford again!

Like many others, we have enjoyed many meals there over the years. I don't need to say anymore than that the most recent visit was out of the park, as usual. Try this tasty wine (worth the $$$ for every drop!) with your next meal there. The only disappointment was when the bottle was empty.

This is a small, friendly, authentic Italian restaurant. The service is always excellent, the food delicious, and the menu has great variety so is sure to please just about everyone. You must get here early, especially on a weekend, if you want to get a table. The enclosed porch is especially lovely in Spring & Summer.

The secret has been out for a long time. This is a very popular restaurant so if you like to eat between 6 and 9 pm, you had better be at least 6 people or wait a very long time. Midweek reservations are accepted, but only for 6 or more on the weekends. Of course there is good reason why... More

Tucked away, delightful little place. As others noted, seating is hard to get and worth the wait. Went for business lunch, attentive service, helpful. Very good selection. Had the Cesar salad which was just right size and great flavors, caprese salad with very good mozzarella and tasty tomatoes, very good. Chicken and mushrooms perfectly cooked and tasted great. Linguini with... More

Greatest little secret in Stamford (except maybe for the political scene) this place is small and no views but if you want some of the best Italian food around you need to go here.

We were three couples last Saturday who made a reservation for dinner. The restaurant is quite small, so if you are less than 5, you cannot make a reservation and may have to wait, but it is well worth the wait!! The menu is wonderful with so many fabulous choices! The atmosphere was relaxing and our waiter, Nick, was wonderful.... More
