We usually avoid this place because we are business travelers with a $50 dinner budget and were told this was "expensive" -wrong! I had an AMAZING 3 course meal, salad, shrimp/lobster stuffed seabass and their sharkfin pie, a great sort of ice cream pie for $32.99!! Great food, great service and a wide menu for any budget!

We were staying across from the Stamford Town Center and wanted a nice lunch. After passing by Kona and PF Chang's., we went into Mitchell's Fish Market. It was nicely paneled and inviting, so we went in. The restaurant had a strong "fish" odor, but since it was a seafood place, I guess that is acceptable. We were seated without... More

We came to the restaurant @ 6:30 on a Friday afternoon. The main dinning room was empty, they asked if we had reservations? I responded no. With that they put us in the bar area, very noisy! As soon as we sat a waiter was there to offer water and bread. Placed our orders after a short look at the... More

The meal was fantastic. The waiter was friendly and told us what he suggested. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. I will make sure next time I am in the area I will eat here again

When on 3/9 with a party of 4 on Sat. As usually restaurant was crowed, but I found the service to be really bad. Waiter or staff just open wine & walked away, we had to ask for a bucket to keep wine cool (white wine), no one poured. Which is ok but when your paying at this level I... More

We were looking for a fresh seafood dinner and we hit a home run with this place. Great happy hour specials, wonderful combinations of seafood. We each got something different and then shared between us. The consensus was that it was one of the best dinners we have had and we have eaten a lot of fresh seafood from around... More

We have been hear frequently, mostly for lunch. The food and service are always very good, fresh and nicely presented. You do not feel like you are in a chain restaurant at all.

Very nice atmosphere, their service is good, if you concentrate in the sea food part of the menu, you will do well. Avoid the salads, try the oysters, clams, calamari and shrimps

The spinach salad was just okay. Fresh sea bass was spectacular. Fruti di mare had fresh pasta. The pasta sauce was average. Carrot cake could feed four. Nice ambiance. Server spoke so softly that I could hardly hear her.

Stopped by for a quiet Sunday evening dinner with my wife and was asked if we had reservations even though the place was half empty. Got a seat right away, but had to wait for almost 10 minutes before our server appeared. I ordered a ribeye, she ordered the cod. The chef himself brought the food to our table ("we're... More
