Stayed in the area for a wedding recently and asked the front desk at the hotel if they could recommend a good place for breakfast. Kizl's was the place, and we were not disappointed. We had breakfast there every day of our stay and it was always fresh and hot with great service. We are from CT originally, but live... More

Four of us went for breakfast and the food and service were great. They have an extensive breakfast menu for everyone's own choice. We'll definitely reteturn

I had breakfast and enjoyed a great selection. Food was hot, well presented and I got what I asked for. Wait staff is cordial and prices were great.

Kizl's has home made sauerkraut and home made New England Clam Chowder (on Fridays). The hot dogs are quality meat and with the kraut are excellent. The N E Clam Chowder is creamy and very tasty....take an extra Lipator (sp?). Its a big place but it still gets crowded at lunch time

We live in the area and Kizl's is one of our favorites. I can say that we have never had a bad meal there after dozens of meals. Is it a great restaurant? No. It is basically a diner. But the food is always good.

My husband and I visit Kizl's almost every Saturday morning... it's wonderful! You can't beat the omelettes, and the server's are super sweet (our favorite is Lisa).

Driving through Southington we were looking for something to eat. We approached this restaurant and of course looked for reviews, it's the first thing we do when we don't know a place. The reviews didn't seem bad and on Yelp they were pretty good. So we gave it a try. To our surprise it was very nice inside and set... More

We noticed this place as we were driving to Lake Compounce Amusement Park. It seemed like it might be a good place to stop after a long day at the amusement park. There were six of us, two adults and 4 kids ranging in age from 11-19. They had something on the menu for everyone. There was none of the... More

Driving from Harrisburg, PA to the Cape and needed a lunch stop. Stumbled across this place at 2 P.M. and as the parking lot was packed, I stopped. Delightful servers and hostess. Very extensive with some usual diner stuff, but also local ethnic dishes such as pieogis, spanakopita, etc. I had a luncheon special of corned beef and cabbage with... More

Stopped in on way back home from a short road trip. BUSY little place. Didn't expect it to be "diner-ish" from the name on the outside -- "Family Restaurant" but actually was. Husband's salad was HUGE and tasty...my brunch was homemade hash and eggs...which was decent by nothing I would return for. Over all, nice and clean, fast service, average... More
