Simple, Hometown Restaurant

It looked like a hometown restaurant on the outside, something that I normally look for, something different than the normal burger place. I asked what they were known for, expecting to have something expensive recommended to me. Actually, I was looking at getting the ribs, but the waitress, a... read more

It looked like a hometown restaurant on the outside, something that I normally look for, something different than the normal burger place. I asked what they were known for, expecting to have something expensive recommended to me. Actually, I was looking at getting the ribs, but the waitress, a very nice lady from Brazil, recommended their 10 inch hot dogs... More

This place is small, run down, and dated. The owners are rude and could careless about their customers. The husband and wife walk around like their a king and queen and you should bow before them. The original owner (the father of saints) was nicer. Their food is bland and just too over priced. Their milkshakes are very good full... More

10" snappin' dogs! Toasted bun, great chili. A real hot dog lover's dream. Will definitely return. The fried chicken looked tempting. Maybe next time😜

We eat at Saint's about 30 times a year and have done so for years. They haver recently re-done their menu. Breakfasts are average I would say, solid, filling and inexpensive, typically not spectacular. Egg sandwiches are a great deal. Pancakes are filling yet light. I like the waffles and poached eggs the best. At lunch there is typically homemade... More

I just had the best turkey club of my life. The bread was perfectly toasted, the turkey was the perfect portion and so moist, the bacon was crisp and delicious and even the lettuce and tomato were nice and cold. The fries were perfectly done and even the coleslaw was tangy and delicious. Yum.

We go for the dogs, but they have much more. Oftentimes we are headed to Southington or Plainville for an athletic event, coming from nearby Meriden. Basically no hot dogs to rave about in Meriden, but Saints is high on our list of popular hot dog joints. Here it is for the long natural casing dog, and personally it's also... More

This place has been around for years! Last time I ate there was over 20 years ago as a teenager. I had a chili hotdog (good) and fries (fresh) and a milkshake (awesome). You pay for what you get!!!! Service was fine. My mom did say that the fried bellied clams were not as good as they used to be.... More

the title of the review sums it up. Unless you are desperate for food and can't get into any other location I would stay away.

I went to Saints today to get a hotdog. One bite and I threw it in the trash. The hotdog had the texture of rubber and no flavor. I got take out. Inside the restaurant was dirty with ceiling that looked like they were never cleaned. Never, will I ever go there again.

We have eaten at Saints for 40 years, from Big Don and Joan to John, Claudia, Ashley, Tyler, Ryan and Morgan-the whole family. We have always had friendly service and quick food delivery. I could eat a Rosol's dog on a grilled roll with the special Saints meat sauce every day! Delicious! Soup specials daily are always tasty and filling.... More
