Always worth the visit

Been here several times and never had a bad experience.. Are there for both lunch & dinner..favorite is the cranberry chicken & garlic redskin masked potatoes and the desserts are the best.. The place is a favorite for many locals so there may be a wait, but it's worth it..

I had the Cranberry Chicken for lunch and it came with red skinned mashed potatoes and a string bean/carrot veggie mix. The potato and veggies were much too salty. Restaurants need to remember that customers can always add salt, but over-salting for those of us trying to avoid salt is a downer. The portions were generous for lunch. I also... More

My fiance and I love coming to Anthony Jacks. The waiters are very friendly and professional. The food is great and we always enjoy the bread and humus before we eat. It is a great place to go for a romantic date or just a low key dinner with friends. Besides the food being so good, the people who work... More

I have been to Anthony Jack's several times now, trying to find the magic that keeps these excellent reviews coming in. So far, i'm simply not seeing it. The restaurant is located in downtown Southington, a charming New England town worthy of a visit on a sunny and brisk autumn day. Anthony Jack's has a handsome street presence and is... More

While the atmosphere is not upscale, the food and service certainly are. If you are looking for a good meal minus the snootiness usually accompanying good food, then this is your place. extensive menu is heavy on meat and seafood , and I would highly recommend their prime rib (wood-fired on the outside, ordered the way you like it inside).... The restaurant is beautifully decorated for the Holiday Season. We ordered from the weekly dinner special menu where you can pick from several entrees for $16. We decided on the pork chops pizzaiola and the fish and chips. The meal was served with a choice or regular or Caesar salad. Both dishes were good and our server was very attentive.... More

I go for dinner but love the dessert. The service is good. The food is consistently good. They do act snootie at the door when you come in like this is fine dining at the Four Seasons. Even with a reservation they make you wait.

When we treat ourselves to a night out at Anthony Jack's, we don't even have to look at the menu. It's the filet mignon every time! There simply is no other restaurant that cooks their steak as finely and at a price that we can afford.

I have never had anything but an excellent meal here. Only complaint is the accoustics in the main dining room, so we always ask to sit at tables in the bar area

Had lunch here with a colleague. The salad was fresh and the grilled shrimp good. The salad was generous, though there could have been more shrimp. Large, varied menu. There is a large dining room, another room with more tables and a bar and outside seating. When in the area again, I would love to go back.
