Good decent food with gluten free options

Have eaten here a few times and enjoyed the experience. Nothing fancy, but a good local place with nice selections and a gluten free menu. Would go back for sure.

Based on all the TVs tuned to various sporting events I guess you'd think this is a sports bar, and maybe at times it is. I was there on a Saturday afternoon with a friend and in spite of the TVs it did not have that sports bar feel. Nice menu selection ranging from light and healthy e.g. Summer Salad... More

Went on a Wednesday night had to wait 20 minutes hostesses didn't seem to care less. Waitress was friendly and kept checking on us but food took a long time to come out as well. Food ok not remarkable. Manager did come over to apologize and offered one dessert ? We were three people, bizarre..., or a way to get... More

This is a worthwhile place to go for lunch. Everything was perfect, the food, the service, the atmosphere ...... Our waiter was very accomplished, he took the entire order for four people and did not write anything down and everything was spot on ! I asked him how he did that ..... he said "i do my best to do... More

While some folks may like consistency on a menu, it does gets boring. On a recent visit, we did enjoy our meals. It was a quick lunch stop for us, since we were in the area. But the items on the menu have been the same for years. There were no specials on this day, which surprised me. I do... More

They have several locations in Connecticut so be sure to see where they are located as you're passing through! Fun times, good wait staff, something on the menu for everyone. This is my 4th visit there in one year. Very pleased

Had the pretzels, soft and hot-to die for and the New England Chowder was some of the best! Great food.

Loved the service and the quality of the food was great! It was easy to find and had a great crowd in the evening. The bar was actually full!

Ask to substitute mashed for the fries - the mashed comes with a crispy onion topping YUM - the Moscow mules were highly recommended by the ladies... More

Wood-n-Tap is a small chain restaurant in the Central Connecticut area. It offers typical pub style menu and atmosphere. I rate it as average simply because its nothing special if that's the type of food your looking for. Good location to hang with friends, watch the game or grab a quick bite with your family.
