We had a hankering for burgers and could not decide were to go and finally ended up at Wood-n-Tap. We ate at the bar and each ordered a different type of burger and they were both great, really hit the spot and cooked how we requested.

Went to Sam the Clams on a sat night for some fried seafood which was very good and plentiful! We ate at the bar which we like and a band started to set up, so we decided to stay and listen for a while. Well, we very very surprised how good they were, ending up spending the evening , had... More

I've been into this pub probably 20 times in the past two years. It's a chain so you can't expect too much. The food is OK but not great; the service comes and goes. But you know what? I keep coming back. I feel welcomed; I sit at the bar and Ben the bartender pours my favorite brew; the ribs... More

Food was good but service is what makes it and it was horrible. Asked to speak to a manager and she was very unprofessional. In my opinion she is to young to be a manager has no idea what she's doing. Last time I ever go there!

Since this restaurant opened I have never seen the parking lot anything but full. When we finally went there, the food was truly unremarkable bordering on terrible. We really wanted to like it but eh.

If you want a great happy hour and reasonable prices this is the place to go. They also have a full restaurant if the bar is not for you. I have never had a bad meal here.

Wood & Tap is a local Connecticut restaurant group with locations scattered around the Greater Hartford area. I've eaten at several and each retains it's own personality but shares commonality in the quality of it's menu and friendly staff. If you are not a local, do not fret about stopping at this establishment just off exit 32 on Interstate 84... More

My family and I love this place. We've always had good service. Food portions are large and delicious! My favorite are the bar fries (sweet potatoes) with the marshmallow/maple dip--yummy! Their apps are great--we've even made a meal out of just apps. And, I've never been disappointed in their desserts, either. This place gets busy on weekend nights, so plan... More
