Not too shabby

We came here on a Saturday night just at about 5:30. Not many people at first but this place definitely gets packed. The food is pretty darn good. I got the mole poblano and it was excellent! Some places are a bit better but I certainly am not complaining. The decor makes you feel like your at... read more

We headed out her one week after Cinco de Mayo and started with fantastic Margarita's upgraded with Don Julio Tequila. My wife had a fantastic Shrimp dish and I got the number one sampler with a great assortment of Mexican goodies. Great food, good service and we will definitely be back.

Used to be a great place to go, friendly and welcoming staff, awesome environment. Lately it has really declined. The new owner doesn't care about customer service in the least bit, and they're losing great employees, who truly upheld the legacy of the establishment. It's a real shame.

El Sombero is okay, most of the choices are like most Mexican restaurants. Atmosphere is cozy and the price is reasonable. I'm use to Mexican food from California so I'm a little spoiled.

Not the same. I usually get the fajitas supreme which had several fresh vegetables and now it's just overcooked green peppers that are just mush. Will not go again. It was gross.

Inattentive staff cold staff. Poor food quality. No visible concern for a good dining experience! Marginal (at best ) black bean soup. Dry , inedible appetisers. When we complained to Waitstaff comment was "We had the same issue with that dish yesterday".

There food is fabulous! You really get alot for your money. The prices are great and they make the BEST Salsa! It is to die for. There Margaritas are wonderful too. If you like Mexican and love to have a good time this is the place for you!

Food quality isn't the same. Hostess was inattentive and not familiar with gift certificate policy. Orders are taking too long to be prepared. I think they changed recipes or chefs.

My family and I have been coming here for years. The name has been changed to Eddie's Sombrero due to the owners passing. The warm chips and salsa are my favorite thing about the restaurant, no other Mexican restaurant has ever compared. The food is also very good, but try not to fill up on the addicting chips and salsa... More

On Eddie's passing his uncle took over the restaurant and although he would like us to think it's to keep EDDIE alive in memory, it's not like EDDIE'S restaurant at all. He changed everything about the place. To start Eddie's 2 staples of El Sobrero, Louis is no longer there and Gabby has been shoved to the back. these ARE... More
