There is no more El Sombrero. Drove there with a $15.00 coupon and found out that now it is called Eddies.

I have eaten here for many years, and I cannot think of any time that I was unhappy. The food is fresh, and well prepared. The staff is attentive and quick. Just thinking about it makes me want to go there right now.

Over the last 20 years my husband and I have been to El Sombrero's countless time. It is our #1 place to eat out. We love the salsa (fresh) and chips (warm), which they also sell if you want to take some home. The drinks are the best. My father told another restaurant to "go to El Sombrero's to learn... More

They are currently closed for remodel. The owner unfortunately passed away. Supposed to reopen later this summer. Hard to give any stars when they are not open, but can't just leave message that they are currently closed.

Good food, decent prices, attentive staff. Mild spices - but you can have them adjust your selection....

I visited El Sombrero in May 2014, and while I was eager to give it a good rating I think it comes out just average. Let me set the scene: The restaurant is in the corner of a small strip mall off Route 10 in Southington. The restaurant winds deep into the back of the building — there must be... More

This was horrible. The salsa was some veggies in tomato sauce, chips not homemade. I had enchiladas, it was just bad all around. Never go back.

This is a great restaurant for chips and salsa enjoyed with a margarita, the dinners have gone down hill recently as they have changed the sauce they use to spice the meals. I would suggest the chicken quesadillas.

The service here is top notch! The margaritas are amazing! The chips and salsa is great! El Sombero is one of the best. The bar area is great. The quality of the food, the drinks, and the service make it my consistent go to when in S town. I miss this place when I am away! Man I want a... More

Went here as part of a group of 4 adults and 4 kids. Heard that the salsa and drinks were really good here. I would say the salsa is definitely from a restaurant supply store and if you ask for margaritas to be made with patron they will charge you 12$. This is a place that sells margaritas for 6-9$....
