Great Thai food

They recently expanded their dining area which was sorely needed. It's a beautiful room allowing for more seating and not as crowded. The menu is a varied one and all the food prepared fresh and comes out hot. They can adjust the spices for you on anything you order. The service is quick and... read more

It's painful to write a one star review of somewhere. This had been my and my fiancee favorite place to eat during our two year stint here in Connecticut, as evidenced by the five star review I have already left. That's why it was so upsetting to be turned away for dinner at 8:25 on a Tuesday night. Having dressed... More

Excellent pork stir fry. Can't remember name. Good size portion. Good spring rolls. Others also enjoyed their dishes. Friendly service. Definitely recommend.

Went here with coworkers on business trip, unassuming exterior when you arrive but the atmosphere inside was quite pleasant, we all had the drunken noodles mine had chicken for the meat, and the presentation was perfect as was the flavor, we ordered appetizers I ordered the crispy green beans with a spicy mayonnaise sauce, oh so tasty, all in all... Went for dinner and saw that it has been expanded to accommodate more people. That makes sense since the food has always been great , it's going to be popular, right? No! Service poor, wait time too long , food cold, not its usual tastiness, in fact no where near. What a shame. ? Could it be an off night?... More

I've eaten at Somewhere in Bangkok many, many times. It was my favorite Thai restaurant, except, the past two times I've been there, I haven't been completely satisfied with the service nor my meal. Positivites: fresh, authentic thai food; BYOB; convenient location. Negatives: terrible parking lot; noisy atmosphere inside. I'm hoping that my past two experiences are just flukes, and... More

This was the first visit for my husband and I, and we decided to go after a recommendation by a friend. We went on Saturday night around 7pm and we did not have to wait, however others after us did. We ordered some of the Thai basics (dumplings, chicken pad thai and drunken noodle), all of which were excellent! We... More

We really love the Thai food at this restaurant - I do think it is one of the best places I've been in CT for Thai as far as flavored and fresh ingredients. As others have mentioned the parking is limited and though they just recently expanded the seating area they didn't expand the kitchen so though you may not... More

Recently visited on a busy Friday night. Parking was confusing, limited and tight. Once we got inside, no hostess stand or waiting area left us wondering which direction to turn. Finally seated, handed menus at least an inch thick (type was a bit small for easy reading), the server took our order without bothering to ask if we wanted anything... More
