Good Thai food/BYOB

I've eaten at Somewhere in Bangkok many, many times. It was my favorite Thai restaurant, except, the past two times I've been there, I haven't been completely satisfied with the service nor my meal. Positivites: fresh, authentic thai food; BYOB; convenient location. Negatives: terrible parking... read more

Went here with coworkers on business trip, unassuming exterior when you arrive but the atmosphere inside was quite pleasant, we all had the drunken noodles mine had chicken for the meat, and the presentation was perfect as was the flavor, we ordered appetizers I ordered the crispy green beans with a spicy mayonnaise sauce, oh so tasty, all in all... Went for dinner and saw that it has been expanded to accommodate more people. That makes sense since the food has always been great , it's going to be popular, right? No! Service poor, wait time too long , food cold, not its usual tastiness, in fact no where near. What a shame. ? Could it be an off night?... More

Positivites: fresh, authentic thai food; BYOB; convenient location. Negatives: terrible parking lot; noisy atmosphere inside. I'm hoping that my past two experiences are just flukes, and... More

This was the first visit for my husband and I, and we decided to go after a recommendation by a friend. We went on Saturday night around 7pm and we did not have to wait, however others after us did. We ordered some of the Thai basics (dumplings, chicken pad thai and drunken noodle), all of which were excellent! We... More

We really love the Thai food at this restaurant - I do think it is one of the best places I've been in CT for Thai as far as flavored and fresh ingredients. As others have mentioned the parking is limited and though they just recently expanded the seating area they didn't expand the kitchen so though you may not... More

Recently visited on a busy Friday night. Parking was confusing, limited and tight. Once we got inside, no hostess stand or waiting area left us wondering which direction to turn. Finally seated, handed menus at least an inch thick (type was a bit small for easy reading), the server took our order without bothering to ask if we wanted anything... More

First of all parking was very limited. Once we were lucky enough to get what appeared to be the last parking space, only because our small SUV was able to squeeze in, we went inside. We were initially offered a seat near the door but being a cold January evening we asked for something in the back room. I'll admit... More

This is my second visit and I decided to bring my husband along with me. I'm crazy about shumai (shrimp dumpling) and ordered this during my first visit. I wasn't overly impressed by my dish and was disappointed with the accompanying dumpling sauce. I figured it may have been an off day for them. I decided to give them another... More

The food is very fresh, They have recently expanded and I love there new look. The food is always great and dishes range from $9 to $26. Most are in the range of $12 to $20 so it depends what you get. I have been here several times over the past few years and have never had a bad meal.... More
