Consistently high quality with good service

Julio's food and service are consistently great. You can't go wrong with the pizza or pasta. The brick oven in the center of the restaurant gives the space a warm positive vibe. Prices are very reasonable.

I have eaten at Julio's since it was opened nearly 20 years ago. First as a father taking young kids, then teenagers, and now as a couple. The food has always been good, consistent, the atmosphere a little crowded but relaxed, and the service always attentive. Salads are great - the Julia is wonderful. The pizzas are always good -... I visit this local business every time I stay in Southbury for work. Very consistent and reasonable. Something on the menu for everyone. My favorite appetizer is the shrimp with white beans - love it. I have also enjoyed their price fixed menu options on the few Monday nights I have been there. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

We've been coming here, mostly for take-out pizza for over 10 years. The take out service had a bit of an accuracy problem in that your 30 minute wait could be 45-60 minutes. They seem to have corrected this issue as I haven't had a problem recently. 30 minutes is actually 30 minutes! The Pizza con Gamberi e Cappesante is... More

My family has been coming to Julio's for years and there are a good reasons: a great variety of delicious food, the genuine warm greetings and attention from their staff, and a laid-back, comfortable atmosphere. From excellent dinner specials paired with good wines to a Neapolitan pizza "to-die-for," everything is fresh and really tasty. Julio's beats everything else in the... More

The food is good quality and well prepared. However, menu choices are limited and if you frequent Julio's as a local, it gets boring pretty quickly. It is also a bit pricey for what you get as no salad is included and adding one is $8 or so. The service is good and the staff is friendly. I would not... More

Good location and atmosphere - Friendly service and average to better food. A bit pricey for the quality , portion and taste. Could really improve on the service. We were a group of 7 and 3 ordered the special. After the salads and soup were served they informed us they ran out of the special. The last of the special... More

We hadn't been here in awhile but we went here Saturday with another couple and we had a very nice meal. Our friends had pizza which was great. My wife had the salmon and I had the special pasta bolognese. Both were excellent. We stayed after our meal and chatted awhile and were not rushed from our table. Very friendly... More
