Good location and atmosphere - Friendly service and average to better food. A bit pricey for the quality , portion and taste. Could really improve on the service. We were a group of 7 and 3 ordered the special. After the salads and soup were served they informed us they ran out of the special. The last of the special... More

We hadn't been here in awhile but we went here Saturday with another couple and we had a very nice meal. Our friends had pizza which was great. My wife had the salmon and I had the special pasta bolognese. Both were excellent. We stayed after our meal and chatted awhile and were not rushed from our table. Very friendly... More

I went to this place for lunch only because i had a groupon for a message next door. I am so glad i did. The food was EXCELLENT! Way above what i was expecting for a "pizza place". I went with a friend. We had the caprese salad for an app and thought it was delicious. We also each had... More

If you love wood fired pizza and friendly service, don't hesitate, GO!! This is our 'go to' place when we want a low key night out. 'Can't count the number of meals both lunch and dinner we've had here. Consistently yummy!

We stayed in Southbury as we took our daughter to start her surgery rotations as a medical student. To our please surprise we popped into Julio's for lunch and it was nothing short of top notch and very reasonably priced. My daughter had the pan seared scallops with sautéed spinach, roasted peppers& sweet potatoes and loved it, my wife had the... More

1.5 hr wait for food. Constant coming to table to remove plates when food never has come. Wine ordered never delivered. Had to ask other people for service as waitress never around. Food mediocre. $60 not worth it.

We visited Julio's for a joint birthday with my in laws in October. We had reservations and they had slotted a very small table in the center of it all. There was 5 of us at a tiny rectangular table and after adding the pizzas there was barely room to reach for your drink! The pizza was delicious, which made... More

The place is nice and well managed. Good to have 3 seating areas (main, bar, patio). Peroni beer on tap is great. They bring focaccia (good) and butter (I prefer oil when possible). I ordered a Quattro stagioni, which was a bit over cooked. The clams section was tasteless. The ham section was OK. The margherita portion was quite good... More

I recently ate at Julio's for dinner. The waitstaff was very good, attentive. There was a nightly special that was $24 which included fillet mignon and shrimp. The fillet mignon was 1 inch thick. There were three shrimp on my plate which were not very big. For $24 I expect to get a bigger piece of beef and better quality... More
