You cannot make a mistake at Sawadee - the entire menu is excellent. Tell your server the degree of heat you want in your dish. Make sure to try the salad with peanut dressing.

I started going here about a year ago. And I only started going because the Thai place by my house keeps weird hours. I started off with getting the shrimp pad thai. It was ok, except it was missing a certain something in terms of taste. It was only a few steps above the Lo Mein you would get for... More

From duck to mussels to curries to Volcano Chicken to spicy calamari to soups to salad with peanut sauce to YEAH! This cuisine makes us happy, happy - happy! This is REAL Thai food at its best. Request a lunch size portion if your watching your lady or man curves. Oh, and they have the most tender bamboo shoots EVER!.... More

I've been enjoying Sawadee Thai Cuisine ever since it opened. I simply love it. I'm careful what I order though - both for heat and for saltiness. I'm pretty much a creature of habit in what I order for lunch here (Karee Noodle with chicken) but when there for dinner I enjoy the ginger duck very much. The mussels in... More

The quality of the food at this local Thai eatery has always been good, but when they were new, there were often serious service problems. As a result, we started going to the restaurant on Main St. in Manchester when we wanted Thai food. Lately, however, that restaurant (can we name it? Sukkothai), has been going downhill, so we decided... More

I always to go there to have lunch or dinner. Close to authentic Thai food in Thailand. Must try the fried ice cream, think they made the best so far. IF only they have "MianKam" ( one mouth full) I don't believe there is any around in Thai Rest here. Very popular in homeland Thailand. Other then that food is... More

Tried a few other Thai places in the area and simply weren't impressed. Sawadee on the other hand has fantastic flavors, very friendly staff, and a good selection. This is one of our more recommended places for people to try in the area if they are searching for Thai, definitely give them a try.

Ive had better pad thai, but that's in west Hartford. Nice atmosphere and service was very nice. I might go back and try other dishes someday.

A local gem of a place. Great, extensive menu with many daily specials well prepared. Service is friendly and very comfortable, relatively quiet ambience. However, don't be in a rush.
