We stopped by Benny's to pick up a couple of sandwiches and we weren't disappointed. I ordered to turkey/avocado on rye and was pleasantly surprised when I began to eat it. It isn't usual that I eat an entire sandwich at one sitting but this one was gone in short order. The atmosphere in the restaurant was welcoming and the... More

This tiny often, over looked, place is well known for its Gyros made with slow cooked meats. A nice place for lunch or dinner. Dinner menue is family priced and the food is very good. Best Hamburgers in town! Also serves pizza and some Italian dishes.

The atmosphere here was family-oriented (cartoons on) and it was very nice inside with large windows overlooking the front street. Service was good, coffee was good, but food was average. Would go back except it was too expensive. Kind of "resort" prices for ordinary breakfast food. Will try the pizza some day ... maybe.

Second visit on a very busy Sunday. Waitress was attentive and nice, BUT food was agonizingly slow to arrive, perhaps 45 minutes for two sandwiches. They were the popular Benny's on French toast; perhaps that was the delay, they were out of bread? They appeared to take sandwich rolls, apply some cinnamon and call it French toast and made us... I have eaten at Benny's 3 times to give them a fair shot. The food is about average if not lower quality for food in the area with a price tag just a bit too high for what it is. I also have a friend who worked there briefly and he filled me in on some disgusting things the cook... More

We enjoyed this friendly little restaurant with white tablecloths. Benny himself came out and introduced himself. Despite the white tablecloths this is not a fancy place. It is more like showing up at Grama's kitchen. We were warmly welcomed and provided gracious service. We were just driving through town and lunch and pulled over. Since we were not starving we... We had an excellent dinner at Benny's last weekend. It is a small frinedly place, almost everyone who works there is part of the family. The service was quick and helpful. The food was fresh, well prepared, flavorful, and plenty. The portions were large. It is a BYOB establishment. The owner (Benny) even gave us a baklava to share-excellent, crispy/chewy.... More

After seeing this restaurant highlighted on our local news and loving gyros we decided to give it a try. The service was amateurish (teenaged girls taking orders and serving) and inattentive. We both ordered the gyro platter which was served with a greek salad and rice. The meat that was served was unrecognizable as either beef or lamb (especially disappointing... More

We had breakfast on a Monday. Service was good. Coffee and tea and hot chocolate were all tasty. The Benny omelet with beef and lamb gyro, cheese, etc was nice. The egg white omelet was ok, though they forgot the spinach. Rye toast and blush muffins were good. Corn beef hash and home fries were OK. We may try it... More

The food was fantastic, stopped in for a quick lunch on the weekend. The service by the young girl was pleasant, she was very attentive. The restaurant is nothing fancy but a good bang for the buck. We will be back, we may try dinner.
