A Nice Homey Place for Breakfast and Lunch

We go to Benny's when we want a sure good thing meal. The chicken fingers are great. Their specials are great--Spinach pie aka burek is awesome. Owners are interested in making sure people are happy. Good breakfast place as well. Husband loves the salad with the lamb on it.

My wife and I just got home after a delicious dinner at Benny's of Simsbury. What a nice surprise. This unassuming place located on Route 10/202 in Simsbury has been in business for three years. I am embarrassed to say that this was my first, but not my last, visit. They are open from 7AM to 9PM and so serve... More

Solid Italian/Greek place. Good food at good prices. The folks working there are GREAT. They are so nice and eager to please. They go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience.

Small place on Route 10, you probably drive right past it. Stop in for a try, any meal. Always hot, just prepared, baklava is homemade (or at least it tastes like it is). Gyros flavorful, lots of meat. Wonderful inexpensive breakfast served anytime, just ask.

Stopped here on a whim. We had gone somewhere else and it was 'too late" for breakfast; we remembered seeing this place off the bike trail so rode back over to it. When asked if they would still serve breakfast they said "sure", and I have to say it was a super tasty breakfast sandwich, I really enjoyed it. My... More

Have not done breakfast here, but lunch and dinner are great. Pizza is Greek style, which I enjoy on occasion. I love the Gyro Lamb and Beef pizza. Gyro platters themselves are good...as is the gyro salad. See a thread here? I like gyros and doner kebab. Entrées are also very nice. Salad accompanies the meal. Freshed baked homemade rolls.... We stopped by Benny's to pick up a couple of sandwiches and we weren't disappointed. I ordered to turkey/avocado on rye and was pleasantly surprised when I began to eat it. It isn't usual that I eat an entire sandwich at one sitting but this one was gone in short order. The atmosphere in the restaurant was welcoming and the... More

This tiny often, over looked, place is well known for its Gyros made with slow cooked meats. A nice place for lunch or dinner. Dinner menue is family priced and the food is very good. Best Hamburgers in town! Also serves pizza and some Italian dishes.

The atmosphere here was family-oriented (cartoons on) and it was very nice inside with large windows overlooking the front street. Service was good, coffee was good, but food was average. Would go back except it was too expensive. Kind of "resort" prices for ordinary breakfast food. Will try the pizza some day ... maybe.

Second visit on a very busy Sunday. Waitress was attentive and nice, BUT food was agonizingly slow to arrive, perhaps 45 minutes for two sandwiches. They were the popular Benny's on French toast; perhaps that was the delay, they were out of bread? They appeared to take sandwich rolls, apply some cinnamon and call it French toast and made us...
