Open during snow and ice

Despite the winter storm, we had dinner with out of town business visitors. The place was full, despite the snow packed parking lot. I tried the recommend Mac and Jack with bbq pork. Colleagues has the house burger and lobster roll. All were very good with oversized servings, enough leftovers to... read more

This place has a lot of potential, the atmosphere, the beer selections, cocktail list, and the craft burgers. the cocktails and the beer generally deliver, but the burgers sometimes are not quite what I am looking for. they can be under flavored, or dry. I am not sure if it is the meat or the cooking, but they are not... More

Plan b is our go to dinner place on Friday nights or when we don't feel like driving. The best place to sit is at the bar. Great drinks and burgers.

Went there on a Thursday evening and still had to wait 20mins until a table became available. Ok, we were a party of six, but it's a good sign when a place is packed on a regular weekday and that around 9pm. The restaurant is rather small and was a bit difficult to find, it is located in an abandoned... More

Well we went for burgers but got a lot more. A group of 4 and everyone ordered a different meal. A "plain" cheese burger, a buffalo chicken burger, a tuna burger and a tuna steak dish. Every item perfectly cooked the plain cheese burger is a very fussy eater and she was pleased that there was no pink in the... More

One stop here for a Burger and a Beer or Bourbon and you'll forget Plan A forever! Plan B has raised Louie's invention to a new and delicious plateau and makes a trip to Simsbury's historic train station a One Way delight!

After a long trip on the road my wife suggested stopping at the old one way fair in Simsbury CT.We have not eaten there since Plan b has taken it over. To start the drink order was wrong and my soda was flat. Shorty there after the salad came out a large garden usually a large fills the bowl, this... More

Hi Jeff, Thank you for taking the time to review us and share you experience. We are so sorry to hear that we let you down. Flat soda, underwhelming lettuce, undercooked burgers are not how we aim to do business. I spoke to our manager about you visit in depth and we both feel terrible that we let you down.... More

First of all, I really wanted to hate this place. One Way Fare is a huge part of my childhood and my coming of age. I played in this building before it was anything other than an abandoned train station. I got my first "real" job here at age 16. I went into the culinary arts because of my time... More

Great food (I love the 3 mini burgers with Parmesan fries), great beer and Bourbon selection, friendly wait staff and bartenders that aim to please, lunch is always a treat. Daily specials are inventive and well executed. Dinner is laid back and the wet-aged strip steak has to be the best deal in town.
