What a pleasant surprise - more than just burgers

Well we went for burgers but got a lot more. A group of 4 and everyone ordered a different meal. A "plain" cheese burger, a buffalo chicken burger, a tuna burger and a tuna steak dish. Every item perfectly cooked the plain cheese burger is a very fussy eater and she was pleased that there was no... read more

One stop here for a Burger and a Beer or Bourbon and you'll forget Plan A forever! Plan B has raised Louie's invention to a new and delicious plateau and makes a trip to Simsbury's historic train station a One Way delight!

After a long trip on the road my wife suggested stopping at the old one way fair in Simsbury CT.We have not eaten there since Plan b has taken it over. To start the drink order was wrong and my soda was flat. Shorty there after the salad came out a large garden usually a large fills the bowl, this... More

Hi Jeff, Thank you for taking the time to review us and share you experience. We are so sorry to hear that we let you down. Flat soda, underwhelming lettuce, undercooked burgers are not how we aim to do business. I spoke to our manager about you visit in depth and we both feel terrible that we let you down.... More

First of all, I really wanted to hate this place. One Way Fare is a huge part of my childhood and my coming of age. I played in this building before it was anything other than an abandoned train station. I got my first "real" job here at age 16. I went into the culinary arts because of my time... More

Great food (I love the 3 mini burgers with Parmesan fries), great beer and Bourbon selection, friendly wait staff and bartenders that aim to please, lunch is always a treat. Daily specials are inventive and well executed. Dinner is laid back and the wet-aged strip steak has to be the best deal in town.

For those of you who have left the place where you grew up, returning home, especially with kids now in tow, is often punctuated with lots of "this place was opened by a guy I grew up with". Before Simsbury became gentrified and One Way Fare had a Plan B, I watched it open . This visit, I was giving... More

Every now and then, I need to visit Plan B for their lobster slider appetizer and cuban burger with a side of sweet potato fries. Nothing else quite compares to this combination of tastes when you need something to fill you up. My significant other always goes for the chopped salad and fresh tuna which is also very good but... I think this place is making a come back of sorts. Opened to much hype and great burgers but over the years felt like it was slipping back and standards were slipping including burger. But last three trips have been outstanding. Burger fries and pickles have been yum. Service was attentive. Layout can be a little rough on the top... More

we had a group of 10 that included children of all ages so we were given a table in their basement which was a bit dark but setup was conducive for small children. The service was friendly and efficient. I ordered the 3 Shrooms Burger and it was excellent.

My family goes to Plan B a lot. It is loud which means no one will notice if your little one is less than quiet. The burgers are wonderful and there is a lot to choose from. The other items on the menu are lovely and local. Great place to go for a drink as well.
