I have wanted to go here for years, I go by it every day going to and home from work. I have also bought my parents gift certificates over the years and they have enjoyed dining here. Last night we didn't feel like cooking and were brainstorming and came up with here. We got there about 6pm and there was... More

This little bit of Italy is a hidden gem in Shelton, Ct. The owners are a involved in every aspect of their resturant -serveing, cooking, even making the pasta and sauce. The friendly atmosphere and the delicious entrees keep you coming back.

had dinner here Saturday night, when we walked in the owner was not as welcoming as we would have expected. However we didn't really care once the food started coming out. Stuffed meatballs for four to start, very good and quite frankly a meal in itself. Our entrees were chicken, veal, angel hair puntenesca and a special stuffer veal chop(... More

I had the eggplant lasagne which was lasagne layered with slices of eggplant. It was mushy and bland. Also, it cost $22.50 with NO side salad or veggie. The service was mediocre. Came over way too late to inquire about the quality of our meals.

Really try to have dinner at La Scogliera - you will be so pleased. The food is just like your grandmother used to make. So excellent my group is still talking about the food - and it is a month later. You will not be disappointed. A little on the pricey side, but who cares when you know it is... More

The owners are wonderful, friendly people, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is quite nice. It may not seem it as it is in a strip mall location, but don't let the fool you. Best Italian food for miles and miles around!

My wife and I had dinner here last night (Sat. night). It was our second or third visit, but first in a couple of years. The food was great, as it was previously, and our waiter Mike was also very good. I had the Delmonico steak with 2 stuffed shrimp, which was quite good and cooked as ordered. My wife... More

We loved the bread and olive oil. We were waited on by the owner and her daughter, We thought they were very nice. My husband enjoyed his chicken parm very much. I had a yummy salad with walnuts and blue cheese and the fried calamari for my dinner. I thought the calamari was a bit overcooked and when my husband... More
