Excellent .... Creamy and great place so cute nice country home made ice cream worth the trip they have a huge variety and very friendly staff
Out of the beaten path, but well known by locals, this is the perfect place to cool yourself off on a hot summer day. Great choices of flavors, great taste and still decent prices.
Salem Valley Farms is my "go to" place when I need an ice cream fix. They have an abundance of flavors of hand dipped ice cream. They do have some dairy free flavors as well as frozen yogurt. The ice cream is a little pricey, but well worth it for the taste and the size of the cone you get.
The ice cream is fresh and flavorful. The have so many flavors to choose from. I highly recommend the Coconut and the Almond Joy! Don't worry about the line if it is long, things move fast! Come with cash as they do not accept credit cards.
Holy cows - that's what they must use to make their ice cream! My wife and I are true ice-cream-aholics and this is quite simply THE BEST homemade ice cream we've encountered anywhere! I love chocolate especially, and am disappointed when there's only that only option available. I counted at least 8 varieties of chocolate here, and between my wife... More
I am an admitted lover of ice cream. When visiting my aunt in Connecticut, she knew she had to take me here and I was NOT disappointed. The ice cream is fresh, creamy, and the flavors I tasted were spot on! I was also very impressed by the options. They have tons of standard, dairy ice cream, dairy free sorbet,... More
Their homemade ice cream is THE best! A bunch of us gals come here Fridays after golf for 'our fix' and boy, is it good. Their ice cream is so creamy and tasty, and their small cones are a good size. I love their maple walnut and there's tons of nuts in it. I've seen people with sundaes the size... More
Salem Valley Farms is not close to home, and really not that close to anything. So it says something that we made the trip here to get the ice cream. We don't go often, but it is so good. They have a great assortment of flavors, I only wish I could have tried more of them!
We just went here for the first ice cream of the season, and were not disappointed! They have a huge variety of flavors, and all of them are so creamy and good! Not only that, you can get some to take home as well! I love their ice cream, it is all very good, that you can't go wrong with... More
At age 67 I suspect I've eaten at least a ton of ice cream. I love it. This past summer my wife and I lived on our boat on the CT River. Several friends at the boat yard said we much go to Salem Farms. So we did. Its out of the early 60's, its genuine. its parking lot is... More
