Holy Cow!

Holy cows - that's what they must use to make their ice cream! My wife and I are true ice-cream-aholics and this is quite simply THE BEST homemade ice cream we've encountered anywhere! I love chocolate especially, and am disappointed when there's only that only option available. I counted at... read more

I am an admitted lover of ice cream. When visiting my aunt in Connecticut, she knew she had to take me here and I was NOT disappointed. The ice cream is fresh, creamy, and the flavors I tasted were spot on! I was also very impressed by the options. They have tons of standard, dairy ice cream, dairy free sorbet,... More

Their homemade ice cream is THE best! A bunch of us gals come here Fridays after golf for 'our fix' and boy, is it good. Their ice cream is so creamy and tasty, and their small cones are a good size. I love their maple walnut and there's tons of nuts in it. I've seen people with sundaes the size... More

Salem Valley Farms is not close to home, and really not that close to anything. So it says something that we made the trip here to get the ice cream. We don't go often, but it is so good. They have a great assortment of flavors, I only wish I could have tried more of them!

We just went here for the first ice cream of the season, and were not disappointed! They have a huge variety of flavors, and all of them are so creamy and good! Not only that, you can get some to take home as well! I love their ice cream, it is all very good, that you can't go wrong with... More

At age 67 I suspect I've eaten at least a ton of ice cream. I love it. This past summer my wife and I lived on our boat on the CT River. Several friends at the boat yard said we much go to Salem Farms. So we did. Its out of the early 60's, its genuine. its parking lot is... More

We enjoy a special treat here during the summer (this is a seasonally open location). Their Ice Cream is delicious. Many flavors to choose from!

When I used to live not too far from Salem, I used to come here every chance I got. Now that I live about an hour and a half away, I STILL go every chance I get because the ice cream is THAT good. I've never had ice cream anywhere near as good anywhere else. Simply put, their ice cream... More

Salem Valley Farms Ice Cream is, quite simply, AWESOME! It's a small outdoor ice cream shop where you will almost always find a lot of happy people eating ice cream! It has wonderful flavors (my husband's favorite is the Almond Joy, mine is cookie dough), we have never had any ice cream here that wasn't good!! It's a little off... More

The absolute best ice cream ever and we check out a lot of ice cream places! Fresh, local and generous servings. Although the line was long, the wait wasn't. Plenty of outdoor picnic seating.
