I've sat down to eat twice... same very friendly and attentive Armenian lady waitress both times. I had an excellent "spicey" Chicken Wrap once.... and the Pastrami Melt with sauteed Onions and lots of swiss cheese the second time... good "homemade" fries with each. Since then... I have ordered take-out many times... and I am ALWAYS well received and taken... More

Our group of 40 had a luncheon in Dec. Our table had (1) beef strips: very tough and overcooked; (2) sword fish and (3) salmon: both sliced very thin, about 1/4 inch, dry, no taste. Asked for carrots (on the menu), "We're all out". Asked for Black Forest cheesecake (on the menu), "We haven't had that for months". Chocolate cream... More

I am a sucker for diners and have never been here so I had the opportunity and tried it. Decor is dated. Staff was extremely friendly just what I wanted. Food good - sausage ( a little spicy) coffee tasted good to me eggs fresh. Bad. Bacon was over micro waved. Pancakes were ok. Price very reasonable I would come... More

Many years ago, I frequented Town Line after a long night of partying. When we didn't care what was on the plate, just as long as we were sober when we left. Since then, I have been there once or twice and the food is still the same. Nothing special. Fruit cocktail out of a jar, rot- gut coffee. ..... More

I go here at least once each week, usually for dinner, but also to meet clients as well as friends, for lunch or a late breakfast. It is very good for a diner and is clean and the food is good. The staff is especially nice, always remembering which table I like, and treating me like family. I almost always... More

We saw the sign on the highway so decided to go for dinner. We neglected to check Trip Advisor but probably would have gone after reading the past reviews. Should have reconsidered when there was no one there at 5:00 on a Friday evening. The staff was very friendly, Krys our waitress was friendly and efficient. We ordered two of... More

I used to go to the Town Line Diner once a week for dinner with a group a friends when I was living in the Hartford area in 2007-08. I recently found myself on Silas Dean Highway and saw the sign, so I stopped. It was just as I had remembered. Friendly greeting at the door, personable service and solid... More
