My husband and I have been to Saybrook Fish House several times and have always had an excellent experience. The food is always top-notch and the service wonderful. From appetizers to the family style salad to dinner to the fruit bowl for dessert - we have never had a bad meal or experience here. Prices are right in line with... More

Great service, friendly staff, nicely laid out seating, quiet background music. Seafood selection fresh and plentiful. Nice touches such as large salad, warm breads and a nice fresh fruit serving after dinner (included). And warm scented washcloths after dinner

The service and food is outstanding. Seafood so fresh it almost jumps off the plate. Really if you like seafood, I would say this is a must do restaurant . Cooked to perfection and wonderful taste, you cant get a bad meal. I would say the interior could use a renovation, but that does not hinder your meal. Prices are... More

I frequent this restaurant often. I love fish..especially fresh, clean treatment of it. The Saybrook Fish house does this with a flair...no heavy sauces to disguise the fact that you're eating a product of the sea. Last time; Seared Ahia Tuna...although the portion was somewhat small the quality was incomparable. Served simply with an Asian Slaw, a little soy and... More

Went with visiting relatives - adults and kids - fresh fish, the sweetest steamers, family style salad and bread, homemade creamy garlic and champagne vinaigrette salad dressing, Fried food was very lightly fried - good service. Look for coupons in local mailers. Meal ends with enough fresh fruit for everyone PLUS enough to take home. The kids loved reading all... More

This is definitely one of our favorite restaurants for a good meal. The staff is always pleasant, love the salad and two dressings (especially when mixed). Our favorite dish is the mussels florentine.

Fantastic meal at Saybrook Fish House. Start with fresh hearty slices of homemade bread. A large salad with fresh greens, tomato, mushrooms, peppers, carrots, cheese, and a wonderful in-house made dressing. Seafood was cooked to perfection, served on a bed of brown rice. Freshly steamed vegetables are served on the side. You are served a plate of sliced fruits, currently... More

I've been going to the Saybrook Fish House for a very long time. I have never had a bad meal there. Their lounge menu of fried seafood is always done just right particularly the whole belly clams and sea scallops. Another favorite entree is the mussels florentine. They always have a nice selection of draft beers and they make a... More

Our family went to dine here. They have a good kids menu and helped us out by bringing our child's meal quickly. We both enjoyed our seafood meals, the quality of the food was good, the service was also good. Two very nice extras were the complementary fruit plate for dessert and the hot towels (!!!, WOW I love these,... More
