Lunch with Grandchildren

Went to Dinosaur Park and went here after for lunch. DW had mango ice tea and a burger, I had 2 Local draft beers- (like to try new ones) and the bison burger. The burger was very good, but I didn't care for the fries. They were shoe string and not crispy. Our granddaughter had the child's pizza... read more

Seemed like a very popular place and I can see why. There were lots of menu choices from dinners to sandwiches and burgers and salads. Everything that we saw coming out looked great. Husband had Philly cheese sandwich marinated in a bourbon sauce and I had a huge salad. Both were delicious.

I met a friend here because it is midway between our houses. We both had the local beer selection. My friend had the tuna, which the waiter said is local, and I had the bison sliders. The menu is expansive! Really good! We ended up staying for nearly 3 hours! The waiter never bothered us or made us feel like... More

First time at this restaurant and the visit was great. Order from the St. Patrick's Day menu and the food was very good. Our server was very friendly and attentative. We had a great experience and will eat here again.

My girlfriend and I came to this restaurant expecting a quick bite to eat. She had been to this establishment before and recommended it. Well, this visit went downhill quickly. We ordered burgers and 30 minutes later the waitress came and said she forgot to place our order with the kitchen. And there was no apology! When our burgers finally... More

Went last night with a group of friends, service was great, even with the bar area completely full. The Tappy Hour menu is great, food and drinks were delicious and well priced for what you get. Also tried the pretzels and they were delicious.

We went here with a group of friends for dinner. The service was good and the meals were fine. Price were reasonable. We had a good time. There just wasn't anything all that special or memorable. The meals were good, not great. I'd be fine going back if someone wanted to meet there, but it probably won't be a place... More

We stopped here while headed for NYC from Boston (about 1/2 way). Right off the highway and very convenient. Burgers and fries were good. I had a nicely cooked Bison burger. But it was Friday night at 8:30pm, the place was packed and so loud you had to scream to talk to your tablemate. I looked around for a quiet... More

My wife and I were making a run to Bradley to pick up our daughter. Was looking for a easy-on, easy-off I-91 reasonably priced place on our way back home along the shore. Friend suggested Wood-N-Tap in Rocky Hill. Wood-N-Tap apparently has restaurants in several locations in CT. A perfect shot! Right off exit 24 on 91. Couldn't be closer.... More
