My husband and were at the Stonehenge for New Years eve dinner. It was excellent, as always. We had our wedding here years ago and visit often during the year for birthdays and other special events. The food here is excellent and the service is very good, not at all stuffy. They have a nice wine list and make a... More

You would not know how close to Route 7 and convenient to downtown Ridgefield, this restaurant and inn is. Its spreading grounds and lake view make you think you're deep in the country. My husband and I usually have joined others for New Years Eve at Bernard's. Having conversation blotted out by their constantly playing pianist, we opted for Stonehenge,... More

We go here at least twice a month. ..Live in Redding. This restaurant is excellent in every way. I am a chef and graduate of Cornell Hotel School. Ther are no comparable places I know of in this area. Some people on this site say the place looks 1980s, ridiculous. Could it use a minor sprucing up, yes, but is... More

The food was excellent, the wine, the service, but overpriced. Is a small place very cozy, elegant, but was empty the they we went. This place is also an Inn. Only for very especial occasions

This past summer my relatives and I had a birthday dinner at this traditional New England restaurant/inn off of Rt. 7 South in Ridgefield CT. We arrived early and had drinks in the small, cozy bar area and chatted to the maitre d' who told us the history of the property. We then moved to the small, informal dining room... More

We have lived in this part of Connecticut for 53 years and for many of them have known Stonehenge to be considered one of the state's premier restaurants. After taking my immediate family there for 2013 Christmas dinner as a very special treat and at a cost of $600 for the five of us, I must sadly take Stonehenge off... More

Was just there for Christmas. Agree with other reviewers, that the food is mediocre and overpriced. The decor is in need of refreshing (looks like the flower arrangements were arranged in the 70s or 80s and are a bit dusty). The waitstaff was good, though, but the fellow handling valet parking was rude in that he didn't pull the car up... More

We went for dinner on November 22, 2013. At 6 pm there were no other customers. The food was very mediocre bordering on bad. Had the Hanger Steak, cooked medium, and it was so chewy I couldn't eat it. Spinach is loaded with garlic. The veal was mushy. One or two other couples came in while we were there, but... More

Have gone there over the years! Last night went there for another function. Food and service were just great! I was surprised that they were able to service over 90 people within a short period of time and keep the quality of the food and service at a high level. Great job and enjoyable evening. I'll definitely go back with... More

This is easily one of the best restaurants in the Ridgefield area. We had a great meal. Be sure and order the soufflé for desert. It's tranquil classic dining area allows one to concentrate on the matters at hand, I,e eating and a having good conversation. The service is attentive. One wonders why it is not more popular. My guess... More
