Great little new cafe that has opened on the Main Street called Lambrakki street. It is up from Mikels a couple of doors and the coffee is great! In real cups n mugs not paper like Mikels up the street( not all mikels in paper cups in other stores). There is an upstairs and downstairs decked out a bit retro... More

My wife and I love to go to Southwest Café. The chicken mango quesadillas are my favorite; although there a variety of choices, both spicy and mild. They make a great red sangria, which is perfect to mellow out with by the glass, or by the pitcher. For dessert, there is nothing better than creamy, smooth flan, swimming in a... More

Had dinner on the patio. Really good, fresh food. Great margaritas. Better than when we had been there in the past. Would definitely go back.

We went here before a show last night. It was good on all counts - margaritas; meals; service; and value. Friendly owner and staff. Would absolutely return when in the area.

We came here on a Sunday night before a concert at the Playhouse. The Southwest Cafe was packed and noise, lots of families with children. They somehow crammed us in at a tiny table between two families. Our server was busy but attentive. Maybe it was our choices (quesadillas and enchiladas), but the food was overly starchy and not too... More

The staff greets patrons warmly upon arrival and last night happily accommodated my husband's request to move us so he could could watch the football game. We love this place. Every time we come here we try something different, and we are never disappointed. I only wish it were a bit closer to our home in Stamford so it could... More

Good cafe for when you want the heartier Tex-Mex fare, and more reasonable than many of the more fancy places that are springing up in town.

Being a local, I wanted to like this place, but after a couple of tries, I can't. The portions are tiny, yet the prices are huge. Not a good combination. Even dishes that are mainly rice and/or beans, which cost next to nothing, are small and pricy. The food is good. It's just not worth nearly that much.

It would be wrong to just label this a Southwestern or TexMex restaurant. Not to sound pretentious, but with a culinary trained Venezuelan chef in charge of the kitchen, it is more like a Southwestern/South-of-the-border fusion cuisine...and fantastic. Our meals comprised the Tortilla soup appy and Shrimp special, Pork Street Tacos and Chicken Fajitas. Everything was served in what can... More

This restaurant has a modern spin on Mexican cuisine. The menu offers a large variety of dishes and excellent appetizers. Great for couples and families!
