Great food...High prices..atmosphere is average

This was our first time at Baileys and weren't sure what to expect. Overall the food was very good and it showed from plating of the dish through to the taste. The chef even came out and asked how we liked our meal. A nice touch for a busy weekend evening. We were in the back room where the... read more

I've been dining at Bailey's five or six times a year since they first opened in 1999. Both for lunch and dinner, but predominantly dinner. In 2013 Bailey's adopted the now trendy farm-to-table style and I feared the worst. I hate change. Well, my fears were unfounded. The food is as good (or better) as it ever was, as is... More

I have been to Bailey's several times since it was remodeled. A few dinners and at least one lunch. The menu is unique, the food well prepared, the service first-class. The atmosphere is better than is was before it was remodeled but it could use improvement, that is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. The prices... More

My wife and I had a very nice mail here. The food was excellent, the menu options were also excellent. Good service - you're kinda scrunched in as there's not a ton of room, but I guess that's part of the charm. We will return.

We have loved Bailey's for lunch, but this is the first time we had dinner and it was wonderful. The Autumn Menu had a number of nice choices. We enjoyed our appetizers - pan roasted Hudson Valley foie gras and the chicken & waffles. For entrees, we ordered the blackened mahi mahi and one of the specials - the Berkshire... More

Had been a few years back and was not thrilled. Everyone said that it has gone farm to table and was super... So of course we would go back....had kale salad and monkfish, which was nice... My husband had pork belly app which was mushy not crispy, and 'skirt' steak as it is one of our favorites.... But seemed more... More

I always enjoyed Bailey's Backyard until they changed to a Farm to Table restaurant. The atmosphere has changed and seems rather dull. And the most disappointing aspect was the high price for MUCH smaller portions. The food was tasty but I gave half of my entree to my husband as his entree was ridiculously small. Neither of us was satisfied... More

Went back to Bailey's Backyard after more than a year. This used to be a favorite pre-concert dining spot before events at the Ridgefield Playhouse. They have recently redecorated and re-vamped the menu -- much more expensive than it used to be. Dinner was fine, but overpriced with limited choices. Probably won't be back any time soon.

Not a ton of choices for brunch in Ridgefield. I find most restaurants in this town to be average at best and only busy because there just aren't many good choices around. Looking to celebrate my moms birthday with a little Sunday brunch. So we made a rez for Baileys as it always looks nice when we walk past to... More

A friend suggested we have lunch here and I said yes because I haven't been there for several years. The service was a little scattered as we were not quite sure who was supposed to be taking care of our table. My meal had its highs and lows. My salad was great, but the chicken in my sandwich was so dry... More
