After a long day of visiting family in Ridgefield, Thali Restaurant at the Days Inn was an excellent choice for dinner. The air conditioning had gone out so the staff suggested we sit outside and enjoy the breeze. Everyone was very nice. We had drinks and nan, and my son had Tandoori Shrimp, I had the Lamb Beryani, my husband... More

The quality of the food is very good, but you pay the price for it. We had two appetizers, main courses and two beers and it was over $100. I guess when you get close to New York you end up paying New York prices. Everything we had was delicious and when were are feeling flush we might go there... More

My girlfriend had never tried Indian food before and was impressed with the Konkani Samundri blue crab appetizer and Chicken Tikka Masala. I loved the market fish curry and garlic naan. The Ralta side was refreshing.

Went for lunch and the food was very good. Had the vegetable "stir-fry" and the samosa. Service was a bit slow but I still highly recommend.

When we walked in, there were empty containers in the buffet. The dishes were not labeled in English, which was frustrating. There were few patrons, which may have affected the selection. Because of the labeling, some of the very spicy hot sauce mixed with our milder selection. The food was quite good but the overall experience left much to be... More

I have tried to like Indian food with all the different spices repeatedly. I am not a wimp but after asking the food to be mild the result, hot!!!!! They told me to eat the yogurt with each dish. I did but my perspiration was just less than a gym workout. The staff was trying to be helpful and courteous... More

This beautiful Indian restaurant is a gem. Unfortunately, it's located in the worst motel (Days Inn). Thali is great: The owner is friendly, the staff are attentive and helpful, and the food is superb.

Thali, housed in the Days Inn Motel (which, by the way, has been home to a some very good restaurants over the past 30 years) is a bit pricey, not spicy and seemingly geared for those uninitiated in Indian cuisines - not that I am an expert. With that said, everything ordered was presented well, good sized portions and VERY... More

I enjoy the restaurant very much. However, having a couple of cocktails and sampling the menu is my favorite thing to do at Thali's bar. I love the glasses and the decor and admire the chance to people watch all those who enter and exit. The bartenders are very friendly. The food is very good quality!
