Wine tasting followed by great dinner. Setting was magical in the snow. Steaks were superb, and desserts delicious. Only slight downer was one girl in winery was quite rude to a couple of our party, however our wine server was knowledgeable and our dinner server was excellent. Would visit again

Went there for lunch and a wine tasting. This place is a must visit!! By far the best wineries we've been to. They have 16 wines to try and all are excellent !!! The restaurant is amazing, it's on the second floor of an old barn. The food is very high quality. They have a perfect small menu with all... More

My husband took me here for my birthday last weekend. We have created nice memories at the vineyard over the past few years and enjoy the views. The setting is beautiful and the staff is warm and helpful. The food however, is overpriced and only okay. Hubby had the sea bass and enjoyed it. It was $30.00 and came with... More

Sharpe Hill has special meaning to me and my husband. It all started when a neighbor gave me a bottle of Ballet of Angels in exchange for providing a jump start for his car. That evening I had my first date with my husband and we finished the entire bottle over dinner. While we were dating we discovered that Ballet... More

We did both a meal in the restaurant and a wine tasting. The wine tasting was both great value and had more of a variety of wines than CT wineries tend to have. Their local wines, including my favorite, Ballet of Angels, are also very reasonably priced. The meal was also excellent, using fresh and local ingredients and excellent presentation.... More

We love the wines here, so we decided to make a reservation for lunch. (They only serve by reservation.) We were not disappointed, the food was good, the service was fabulous, and the decor is inviting. The barn where they serve you is decorated very tastefully and also is very whimsical, in that there is a large variety of types... More

My wife and I enjoyed a lunch here on a beautiful October Sunday afternoon. A delightful complimentary bottle of Ballet of Angels accompanied a delicious meal. Our thanks to Catherine for the kind gesture upon learning we were just married. We started with a delightful assortment of cheese and fruit. She enjoyed the swordfish special and I , the creole... Sharpe Hill was delightful. It was slightly chaotic when we first walked in. We didn't arrive as early as we had intended, so I didn't think we would be able to do a tasting. We were pleasantly surprised that we had time. We only sampled 3 and we chose the one we wanted for dinner. Ian led us to the... More

What a great night in the "woods" of eastern Connecticut! We started with a tasting, 30 minutes prior to our reservation; summed up in one word; fun! Our server, a young lady, was attentive, knowledgeable and fun to spend the first part of evening. We sampled 6 wines, whites and red, dry to sweet...Al delicious! Next we were off to... More
