Fantastic homestyle Italian food

Homemade pasta and breads, yes please! This is a nondescript restaurant that flourishes solely on its write-home-about food. I've lived in Connecticut for 5 years and I've never heard of it until my boyfriend took me there for dinner. Their bread is wonderfully salty and soft. The pasta is... read more

I picked up a trays of zitti, sausage and onions, and chicken fingers for a family get together. The zitti was amazing: in store made noodles with a rich flavorful sauce. The sausages were sweet Italian with peppers and onions caramelized to perfection. Chicken fingers were of good size and not over cooked. It is fairly priced and worth every... More

We live out of state and always look forward to eating here when in town visiting family. This time however was disappointing. We used to rave on the calamari but this time it was over-fried, dry and not that tasty. The pasta dishes are plentiful but not carefully crafted. The sauces were ok but overpowered the homemade pastas, which is... More

If you want good, fresh Italian food, this is the place. If you judge the goodness of a restaurant by how many cars are parked in the parking lot, then Pagliacci's is a five star restaurant. The Chicken Parmigiana and Chicken Caciatori are excellent. When ordering your dinner plan on having enough left over for the following days lunch.

A family and senior citizen favorite, this Italian restaurant is declining in quality. It seems to be floating on its reputation of good homemade Italian food and lots of it. We ate as a group of five on a weekday evening. For the first time I've seen, the place was not even half full. Service was accommodating to a handicapped... More

Came here with an old friend and ate at this place as this was a family relative who owned the place and he always comes here. The service was good, and the service a nice homemade bread with the meals. I ordered up a Chicken Picatta that was huge! I could not finish my meal as could my colleague. We... More

For years this place was where we would go on special occasions. For the past few yrs it has been very disappointing. We got veal parm and thank goodness for the sauce, otherwise the veal had no taste and was greasy. The quality of the food has gone down. It's not worth driving 30miles. They make their own pasta but... More

Every time I go by Pagliacci's Restaurant it's crowded. It's been in business for as long as I can remember. However, both recent trips to the restaurant have proved to be a disappointment. The first time I ordered their Chicken Parmesan thinking it's an Italian restaurant and I should be safe. Wrong! Even I could have made it better. The... More

I recently returned here after quite a few years. My friend order a pretty plain dish, just pasta and sauce. When it came, it looked like pasta soup! He was lucky to have 15 strands of spaghetti in the bowl with what seemed like a whole jar of sauce. He didn't want to say anything b

Pagliacci's offers a great Italian menu with a lot of variety. It is family and budget friendly and the portions are huge to share or bring home leftovers. The cheese raviolis are my favorite and typically my go to. They make excellent homemade sauces. Would highly recommend.
