Eli's was average at best when it was re-opened after a fire destroyed the restaurant several years ago. It was re-designed and enlarged but the emphasis was on large numbers of people crowded in tight quarters as opposed to quality food. So when it was open on day and closed the next with no notice it wasn't a real surprise...

Dined here over the Summer with some friends. The place is kind of rustic yet very wide open and kind of loud. The hostess and waitstaff were very attentive but just a little slow. The portions I thought were great and the prices are reasonable. This is more of a family style restaurant than a steak house. I will surely return.

I tried this place 4-5 times. I really wanted things to work cuz there aren't many restuarantsf in the area. The service was lacking any sort of confidence that made it an experience. The steak choices were lame and not worthy of a "steakhouse". The decor and feel was very hard and cold. We will not go again.

I had the steak salad and it was very tasty and substantial. The prices were very good and the wait staff attentive. It's well worth a visit.

I'm not sure they should bill themselves as a steakhouse. More like a family restaurant with some pretty cheesy Western decor. Generic menu with a few steak options tacked on. Food average, service slow, dirty silverware, tables kind of crowded together. Disappointing.

This restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. It's family friendly--we had a baby with us--but there's no overwhelming noise and clatter. The waitress was great, and our food came quickly. Others pitched in to help.

I've been to Eli's a handful of times and enjoyed every visit. Their penne chicken ala vodka is excellent and their prices are great. The service has been good every time. The restaurant is big and clean, and while it is always busy, we have never had more than a 5 minute wait. I highly recommend!

I am assuming Eli's was short on wait staff when we visited, because we waited a L-O-N-G time to both place our orders and receive our food. Our waters ran dry. Prime rib is a specialty on their menu but it was very fatty and tough. I had a hard time getting my knife thru the gristle (gristle in prime... More

I live in the area, and my family and I eat at Eli's about once a month. I am very picky about my steaks and how there cooked (i like it med-rare) and they are the only restaurant that cooks my steak perfect every time, and the portion sizes are worth every penny! The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere... More

Worse prime rib I ever had. The service took way too long, by the time I receive my prime rib it was stone cold. Waitress also was quite rude and wouldn't keep different tabs for the table. A great night ruined by a crappy restaurant.
