The food is so good. If you get the chance go to their Sunday buffet. You can taste many delicious dishes and find some new favorites. Very clean, good service and a nice outside patio. Mild or spicy you can get your food the way you like it. Mango lassie drink is great. Try anything on the menu and it... More

Has to be one of the best Indian places we've been to. Of course the restaurant is mostly South Indian cuisine, so it may not be the traditional fare you see elsewhere. But there was a good selection of North Indian delicacies too and lots of snacks and dessert options. We went for the Sunday lunch buffet and at $15,... More

We decided to give this place a try because of the stellar ratings. As we got inside the place me and my girlfriend felt out of place as everyone eating there was Indian and gave us dirty looks because we weren't wearing turbans and were different. Food is average. If your American go at your own risk.

We have been to Coromandel many many times and have NEVER had a bad meal. Matthew runs a great restaurant supported by long-time servers such as Emanuel and Iby. Huge value, Coromandel provides great bang for the buck. I especially love the the vegetarian menu, spiced to order, but have enjoyed chicken, seafood, goat, beef and lamb dishes on many... More

Good prices, great buffet (especially on weekends when they have Indian street treats), good dinners, service... The restaurant serves lunch and dinner but nothing between, so don't show up after 2:30 looking for lunch...wait until dinner.

We visited this restaurant based on the review of tripadvisor. We went for the lunch buffet. The restaurant is located in a strip mall where the Hibachi buffet restaurant is. This was not your ordinary Indian buffet that we used to have in new Haven. There were more choices and more authentic Indian Appetizers as wellas vegetarian dishes. It was... More

I go here on a regular basis, The staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is so good! Some spicy, and some not so spicy, but all full of flavor, I really look forward to going here.

This may be a bold statement, but I would go as far as saying it is the best Indian restaurant I've experienced so far. Incredible nan, and rich, textures layers of curry, with both chicken and various meats tender and smoked in the wood fired tandoori oven. since the food is just superb. Worth a visit if you love and... More

I recently returned to this restaurant after a dozen years - and my guest, who lived nearby, could not stop commenting on how delicious the food was. We both picked from the long list of vegetarian selections - but if the standards are as high as they were a dozen years ago the meat entrees are as carefully prepared. My... More

I went to many many Indian restaurants and Coromandel is by far the best ! I highly recommend the buffet on Saturday & Sunday, the food is delicious (I consider it gourmet), nice variety, beautiful display, the best service and great prices. Don't miss out, this is not your typical Indian food restaurant - everything I tasted on the buffet... More
