Good pancakes and omelets

We stopped here for a late afternoon lunch. The pancakes and the omelets were well prepared and made with fresh ingredients. Chips has a very large menu and there are many options if you are not interested in breakfast.

So many breakfast options that it took me awhile to decide what to try. The really friendly waitress helped me pick a California omelet and dang! It was awesome!! The home fries were great too!! He had the sausage gravy and regular pancakes and he enjoyed his breakfast also! I would definitely go back, the pumpkin walnut pancakes sound amazing!

We were looking for somewhere to eat as we drove from Boston to Stamford,CT. We saw the sign for Chips off of I 95 at Exit 41 and thought..might as well. We saw it was a great place for pancakes, but we wanted lunch fare. We were not disappointed. From the friendly hello from the man who sat us to... More

My daughter and family ate at your restaurant and was charged double on her card. She has made numerous calls and visits to resolve this issue including a copy of her bank statement, to no avail. I cannot imagine that Chips would risk their reputation on a $50.00 overcharge but apparently Chips feels it is worth the risk. We used... More

We went here after visiting the Pez factory right around the corner. All 3 of us ended up having breakfast for lunch. Service was great and the food came out fast. Husband and I had omelets. I did like that you could order them fluffy or diner style. I like mine diner style. I had an English muffin and potatoes... More

I don't know how long this place has been in business but this was a monthly required Saturday trip with the family as you could either style the pancakes to make yourself happy or find something on the huge menu to fill up on. Now it's just the two of us and a trip like today's is somewhat of remembering;... More

We decided to try this new restaurant opened in Southbury which I believe is a part of the Orange, Ct branch. When we walked in no one was at front desk, we waited a minute or two and then someone said someone would be with us. A gentleman came and greeted us sort of and took us to a table.... More

Went there today for the first and last time. My waiter, Kelly, was slow, in a bad mood, made a face when I asked her to bring me milk in stead of the half and half they had on the table. I ordered a corn beef sandwich on rye bread with American cheese, which consisted of two pieces of overly... More

I was very impressed with the food and service at Chip's. My husband an I stopped here for breakfast on Memorial Day weekend on our way to Mystic based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. The place was busy and there were only a few tables available at 9am. The host was able to seat us promptly and even offered... More

Went their for Mother's Day! My daughter stood on line and gave name because we were 10 people. Wait wasn't too bad. At first I thought I was going to order French toast and then I realized it is really a pancake house. I had the turtle pancakes. It is pancakes with chocolate chips, caramel chips and chopped pecans on... More
