ok, they have a photo of pancakes with nuts, I ordered pecans, I swear, I was given about one teaspoon of crushed pecans, you couldn't even tell they were nuts and they charged 2.50 for that. I did go to the new one in Wethersfield. Two people for breakfast. 35.00 bucks with tip. For breakfast?? That's ridiculous. I tried it.... More

If you are looking for a 70's pancake place this is it. If you want interesting food forget it. Great for kids and seniors.

First, the good news—Chips is a friendly, family-oriented restaurant just off Interstate 95. Now, the bad and I’m sure if we went again the experience would be different. I ordered the turkey dinner and my wife the turkey/avocado sandwich. When the food came out I was served a meatloaf dinner. Oops. This was taken back. My wife started to eat... More

My family of five saw the billboard on I-95 and checked out Chip's for dinner while traveling. Instead of a typical chain, Chip's dishes out freshly prepared meals in a clean, comfortable environment with a friendly staff and attentive management, just a few minutes from I-95. While they are apparently known for their many varieties of pancakes, our group ordered... More

Sunday morning packed. Wait in line was only 10 minutes. The breakfast selection is probably bigger than any I've ever seen. Strawberries on the huge side pancakes were fabulous. You won't need to eat the rest of the day. Servers were among the best who have ever served me. If you can you should visit!

We saw the sign while traveling on 95. Since Chips was located at the same exit as our hotel we thought we would give it a try. After all, 40 different types of pancakes? They serve all types of food so we were sure to find something. When we pulled into the parking lot at 1:30 pm, it was packed.... More

Easy on and off - don't miss Chip's for a great pancake breakfast on 95. We have stopped here for 2 years in a row on our Labor Day weekend trip to Maine. Really friendly service and fantastic pancakes. Light and fluffy with all fresh ingredients. I got the patriotic short stack that had fresh blueberries, strawberries and bananas. Their... More

Good food and service. Local restaurant has been in orange for a long, long time. My wife and I eat there often and we have never had anything that was not good.

Fast service and good food! Lots of selections. Extensive breakfast menu (served all day). If you can't find something here I'd be surprised. Not over-priced. Also located not too far from the Pez factory/store for a nice side trip if you have kids.

We had to stop here a second time on our way back home. Good omelets, which were very large. Great pancakes. They have numerous flavors, but we just wanted buttermilk pancakes which were wonderful. We saw the sign and had to try it, even though we just got the plain pancakes.
