Sucks

Please don't serve food if you don't know how to make it. Crab eggs Benedict served with Nutella pancakes and strawberries!?!?! No English muffin no potato and worst of all no flavor. Maybe the pancakes are ok, but I will NOT be back. On the plus side our server was a doll, very attentive and... read more

I recently had a chance to share a dining experience with my wife while visiting Orange, CT in September. We were on the Post Road, it was lunch time, and we came into view of Chips Restaurant. Having eaten there while in town for business, I felt confident that I would not go wrong bringing my "discriminating wife" there for... More

Chips is a really popular breakfast spot. The line was out the door and the place was packed. It reminds me of the Pancake House in my hometown. Definitely has name recognition and that's why people come. The food is good, but not the most amazing breakfast you'll eat. The prices are a bit on the high side, but again,... More

We were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant. When asked when a booth would be free we were told it could be awhile. We weren't seated 2 minutes when a booth was available but we already had our coffee so we stayed where we were. The 2+2+2+2 special is great . Two eggs, pancakes ( get... More

ok, they have a photo of pancakes with nuts, I ordered pecans, I swear, I was given about one teaspoon of crushed pecans, you couldn't even tell they were nuts and they charged 2.50 for that. I did go to the new one in Wethersfield. Two people for breakfast. 35.00 bucks with tip. For breakfast?? That's ridiculous. I tried it.... More

If you are looking for a 70's pancake place this is it. If you want interesting food forget it. Great for kids and seniors.

First, the good news—Chips is a friendly, family-oriented restaurant just off Interstate 95. Now, the bad and I’m sure if we went again the experience would be different. I ordered the turkey dinner and my wife the turkey/avocado sandwich. When the food came out I was served a meatloaf dinner. Oops. This was taken back. My wife started to eat... More

My family of five saw the billboard on I-95 and checked out Chip's for dinner while traveling. Instead of a typical chain, Chip's dishes out freshly prepared meals in a clean, comfortable environment with a friendly staff and attentive management, just a few minutes from I-95. While they are apparently known for their many varieties of pancakes, our group ordered... More

Sunday morning packed. Wait in line was only 10 minutes. The breakfast selection is probably bigger than any I've ever seen. Strawberries on the huge side pancakes were fabulous. You won't need to eat the rest of the day. Servers were among the best who have ever served me. If you can you should visit!

We saw the sign while traveling on 95. Since Chips was located at the same exit as our hotel we thought we would give it a try. After all, 40 different types of pancakes? They serve all types of food so we were sure to find something. When we pulled into the parking lot at 1:30 pm, it was packed.... More
