I'm not even a carrot cake fan but they were out of brownies for a brownie sundae so my finance ordered the carrot cake. The best ever he said and I couldnt resist as the icing was half an inch high. The 'cake' wasn't even cake like it was full of shredded carrots nuts and we don't know what else... More

Traditionally a local place especially after hours. I recommend lunch there - cheap pub food, good portions, fun atmosphere, local feel, run down.

Although the atmosphere is a tavern the Food is Excellant! Best Burgers Ever and surprisingly the best home style cooking on the shorline. You may wait but it's worh it. All burgers made to order and hand pressed! Fabulous corned beef ruebans and salads. Dinners Excellant. Don't let the large bar intimidate.

We had an early dinner here the day after Christmas. My husband had the burger and I had the salmon. Both were very good. The temperature was still milder than the usual December temps. As a result we sat in the glass enclosed, semi-outdoor section and never actually went inside. The place was hopping. People were constantly coming and going.... More

I had always heard stories about this institution. None of them were true. The service was very good and food was excellent.

Love the hot lobster roll and the shrimp bam bam. Also take home the Peanut Butter Pie and it is delicious for breakfast. Love the historic building and the great atmosphere. The wait staff is wonderful especially Ben the Bartender. Love the place.

I'd go back. Nothing blew my socks off but I like the place. It's a nice little dive bar with good grub. The seafood is tasty and it's got a very mom and pop feel. Try the salmon.
