Take the "Thyme" for Rosemary & Sage

After checking Tripadvisor we decided that Rosemary and Sage would be a restaurant we wanted to eat in, while in Old Saybrook. We had Thanksgiving Dinner here this year - made reservations ahead of time and knew it was a limited menu. The food was fantastic - even dessert, which we took home. Service was very nice, and the prices were what we expected for a holiday. We really enjoyed it, and would definitely go back for another holiday or another meal... More

Really cute place! We went on a Saturday and it filled up fast! The place was packed by 6pm. The drinks are a decent price, and the bartender,Nancy, couldn't have been any nicer. The salad was beautiful & fresh. I had the stuffed shrimp, it was amazing! And the homemade fresh French fries were cooked perfect! I can't remember what... More

We dine here about four times a year when traveling through Connecticut. They have petite portions of several of their entrees which is plenty for us, what with great oysters to start and delicious bread and dip. This time our reservation was lost, which was immediately acknowledged, we were seated at the bar with profuse apologies, and enjoyed a complimentary... More

My husband ordered the baked stuffed clams which he loved . Tuna for his main course. The tuna was cooked perfectly and it was a large portion served with the most incredible mashed... More

My friends and I went to Nancy's Rosemary & Sage after reading favorable reviews on Trip Advisor and found we'd been advised well. We were greeted by Nancy as welcome guests and proceeded to enjoy a lovely meal. My salmon was delicious and I was delighted with the perfectly mashed potatoes and steamed squash. Our waitress appeared often to refill... More

Gathering seven chatty women in a restaurant is a challenge on its own but the staff at Rosemary & Sage took it all in stride. Service was great, food also yummy: excellent soups, salads, and small luncheon size plates of full meals. It is cozy, but comfortable. Reasonably priced and adjacent parking. We will be back.
