Worth checking out!

Have driven by many times and have never tried. Was glad we checked it out. Very good food and good service. Server was very pleasant however she got sat with 4 tables at the same time. She made the best of it but she needed help. Food was very good. Great garlic bread to start. Popcorn shrimp... read more

We were delighted to find this lovely little restaurant in Old Saybrook. the menu is creative, the service is very efficient and the food was exceptional.we were on our way to a show at the Katharine Hepburn theater and have decided that when we go to another show this will definitely be a restaurant we will visit again.

Our first time here. Great coconut shrimp large 4-5 pieces served with sweet coconut dipping sauce. I ordered a dz little neck clams. Fresh and delicious . My husband ordered the baked stuffed clams which he loved . Tuna for his main course. The tuna was cooked perfectly and it was a large portion served with the most incredible mashed... More

My friends and I went to Nancy's Rosemary & Sage after reading favorable reviews on Trip Advisor and found we'd been advised well. We were greeted by Nancy as welcome guests and proceeded to enjoy a lovely meal. My salmon was delicious and I was delighted with the perfectly mashed potatoes and steamed squash. Our waitress appeared often to refill... More

Gathering seven chatty women in a restaurant is a challenge on its own but the staff at Rosemary & Sage took it all in stride. Service was great, food also yummy: excellent soups, salads, and small luncheon size plates of full meals. It is cozy, but comfortable. Reasonably priced and adjacent parking. We will be back.

Although we only visit friends in Old Saybrook once a year, we always seem to make it back to Nancy's for lunch or dinner. All the "locals" we visit come on a regular basis, which is a good indication that the quality of food and service continues throughout the year. The night that 8 of us visited it was extremely... Although the décor is dated, the garlic bread that came when we were seated was great, the eggplant parm was delicious, and I am told that the veggie burger was great. The only criticism was that my sister's shrimp in the scampi was overcooked. She loved the sauce and the rest of the dish, but when she mentioned that the... More

Try the scallop and red bell soup. Can recommend both the pear salad and salmon special (mango sauce the night we went). Friendly staff, good service.
