Busy city

Very busy and traffic city. Good for stop over and business. Many taxi available for you to go wherever you want and no need to book before. I took vinasun and mailinh is good and reasonable price.

Just ate here today and I gotta say remarkably impressive. We first noticed the atmosphere and decor, just top notch. Lots of really interesting art, colors, flowers, etc and set in an old house type of feel. Awesome hardwood floors. The server was excellent. Very attentive. The food. Oh man. The food was just great. Party of 7 and we... More

Expensive for mediocre food. Service was good but food did not meet expectations. Wish it was more authentic, and it used to be much better. Not sure if the chef changed, also do not expect to see a Gelato place outside.

We have had dinner several times, once last week. The food is delicious, the menu offers a wide range of choices. We always leave happy. Its not fancy, its not pretentious, its just genuine and good. It fill up quickly after 7:30. We look forward to going back.

Had been weary of trying SC thinking it would be another faux Asian place in CT. But went there last night and, with the caveat that the vegetables aren't as fresh or local as you'd get in Vietnam or NY, it's pretty good. The operator is from Vietnam and the cuisine true. There are Thai options too and they also... More

Went here on May 27, 2015 before my son flew back home to Georgia. My wife and I have been here once before and wanted to see if the menu, service, staff, or quality had changed. The restaurant is located in an historic home on Rt 1 (Boston Post Rd) but decorated with Asian pictures and artifacts. The menu is... More

I've been to Saigon City five or six times, and was most recently there this weekend with some friends. It's a Thai/Vietnamese blend, and the food is generally very good quality and at a good value. The appetizers are expensive, but the meals are a great deal--especially if you do the Bento Box. Give it a chance if you're down... More

After reading so many good reviews, I thought I would give Saigon City a try while in town. I had a high hope so it resulted disappointment. We ordered pho. I did not care for it too much. It was tasteless. The bean sprout was old and not eatable. I wondered why the restaurant would even bring it out. The... More

My first visit to Saigon City was a real treat. I never had Vietnamese food before and was I impressed. Think of Chinese food with a French chef, simply outstanding.

The food was very good. The menu is laid out in an unusual way- sorted by the type of meat in the dish. I expected Pho to be a prominent menu item but we had to hunt for it. When we found it, we ordered it and it was good. The Pad Thai was excellent. The vegetarian pancake was delicious.... More
