Good Vietnamese Restaurant in Shoreline Area

Went here on May 27, 2015 before my son flew back home to Georgia. My wife and I have been here once before and wanted to see if the menu, service, staff, or quality had changed. The restaurant is located in an historic home on Rt 1 (Boston Post Rd) but decorated with Asian pictures and artifacts... read more

I've been to Saigon City five or six times, and was most recently there this weekend with some friends. It's a Thai/Vietnamese blend, and the food is generally very good quality and at a good value. The appetizers are expensive, but the meals are a great deal--especially if you do the Bento Box. Give it a chance if you're down... More

After reading so many good reviews, I thought I would give Saigon City a try while in town. I had a high hope so it resulted disappointment. We ordered pho. I did not care for it too much. It was tasteless. The bean sprout was old and not eatable. I wondered why the restaurant would even bring it out. The... More

My first visit to Saigon City was a real treat. I never had Vietnamese food before and was I impressed. Think of Chinese food with a French chef, simply outstanding.

The food was very good. The menu is laid out in an unusual way- sorted by the type of meat in the dish. I expected Pho to be a prominent menu item but we had to hunt for it. When we found it, we ordered it and it was good. The Pad Thai was excellent. The vegetarian pancake was delicious.... More

Because my wife and I had a hankering for Thai we decided to give Saigon City a try. Although it was a little unusual to find a Vietnamese and Thai restaurant in an old colonial house, the restaurant interior was very nice. The wait staff was very attentive and very helpful. The food was very good, and reasonably priced. First... More

My boyfriend and I ate a delicious dinner that we couldn't find fault with at Saigon City. As appetizers we had summer rolls and a small beef pho, and then for dinner we had curries, beef for him and shrimp for me. Each dish had fresh and tasty ingredients, lots of complex flavors, and was served promptly and hot. We... More

This happens to be one of my favorite places . It reminds me of a whimsical romantic villa . The outside has figurines and carefully placed lighting and flowers that make it quite inviting when you first arrive . Entering you are greeted by Diane who greets you with her lovely smile . Bernadette and Wu work hard to create... More

Cute little place. Food is acceptable, not fantastic. Had the PHO which should be noodles broth veggies on side plus maybe the rare beef. This came with everything under the sun. The curry dishes were good. Came with a family of 5. Third visit..
